The Rainforest day trip with Billy Tea Safaris was fabulous. The van was comfortable and every transfer and portion fantastic. The lunch at Cape Tribulation was very good.
All communications with Billy tea were superb.
Our day on The Great Barrier Reef was memorable with Down Under Cruise and Dive(DUCD). However communications with DUCD was very poor. We thought the Great Barrier Reef was still part of Billy Tea ToursI We were text the expected arrival time at the Pier but had no idea who was providing our day trip to the Reef. We had to ask around the busy pier until we found our names on a list. We were also not give any information about what to bring. Running shoes really were not necessary but a change of clothes would have been nice. Wearing your bathing suit would have made things easier as changing in the small bathroom was challenging.
The experience, once we were on the boat, was fabulous. The young crew did everything to make us feel safe and welcomed.
Sea sickness tablets were offered for sale and I’d strongly recommend taking them as the swells could be high.

La forêt primaire de Daintree est magnifique mais par contre il est vraiment triste de voir la majorité des coraux morts sur les spots où sont amenés les touristes sur la barrière de corail. Pour quelqu’un qui a des expériences de plongées précédentes, c’est très décevant. Organisation parfaite pour les deux excursions.

Great Barrier Reef was absolutely incredible! Bucket list material and the staff really look after you and make your day special. If you get even a little bit travel sick though would highly recommend taking sea sickness tablets which they provide at a small extra cost on board. Unfortunately due to the recent storms, unlucky weather conditions and high tide the Daintree Rainforest experience didn’t live up to expectations. We didn’t get to see much which was a bit disappointing. However, we did visit some beautiful beaches with lovely view and had really lovely ice cream made with fruit grown locally.

Es hat alles sehr gut geklappt. Beide Ausflüge waren wirklich schön. Im Rainforest hat das Wetter leider nicht mitgespielt. Auch auf dem Boot hat es ziemlich geregnet.. unbedingt Regensachen mitnehmen. Durch den Zyklon Jasper Ende 2024 waren auch einige Dinge nicht machbar, da noch an der Wiederherstellung der Straßen gearbeitet wurde.
Die schnorcheltour war wirklich toll, trotz der vielen Leute war es gut organisiert und die zwei Spots waren toll. Man muss halt schauen dass man nicht mitten in der Menge schnorchelt, dann hat man sehr gute Chancen eine unglaublich schöne Meereswelt zu erleben.

Super rough waters the day that we went. I mean high tides. I believe they should have canceled it because they were asking people to take seasick pills prior to take off. The waters were rough and way too many ppl in the excursion to really enjoy and take it all in. It was like fishes flapping around on land and constantly getting kicked while on the water.
They never came to pick us up for the second tour for the rainforest tour. They told the receptionist they were coming back to pick us up and supposedly called us but that was a lie. Then viator refused to give us a partial refund even though we were at the pick up spot from 6:55 am to 8:02. We called them twice picked up on the second call only to inform us that we missed the bus lol. Crappy customer service and I would not recommend these ppl.

The whole trip from the boat on the river to see crocs, a walk on a pristine beach, a delicious lunch at a jungle restaurant, unique ice cream flavours to try, and a swim at Mossman Gorge completed an amazing day. Well worth the time and money! Highly recommended!
