1. Swimming with dolphins – I felt like the dolphins were just getting a kick out of watching all us all jumping to the water and then making the tourists climb back to the boats. They were as curious about people. I do not doubt their ability to move away if they felt uncomfortable about tourists surrounding them.
2. Swimming with Green Turtles- at the beginning intimidating but actually so cool. The turtles looked clean and healthy. The water was clear. There were few fish in the pool in as well.
3. Juma the founder of the Mango Tour company made sure that my wish to try Ugali for lunch was made true and we found the place where it was prepared for me. In Zanzibar rice is more common than Ugali in comparison with the mainland Tanzania. Lunch was at own expense but it was quite cheap. I had beef stew with Ugali and fried fish – the food was very good

The tour was decent. Our guide was very nice. The dolphin tour felt like a bit of a waste since you and 12 other boats are chasing 4 dolphins and would rather have just gotten to Mnemba Island. I did enjoy Kendwa, we didn’t see Nungwi though. Realized that was a bit of a miss, but by the time you spend all the time of the water, and hit the beaches it’s quite exhausting. All in all decent.
