We had the best day. Zak was a great guy who made us feel welcome right from the get go when he picked us up. He came on time as promised and was really personable.
The tour was smazing-he have us lots of advice and helped the folks who were new to segways, along with a refresher course for us who had been on them before. There was no pressure and he gave all the time needed and we all felt confident.
Having set off, Zak was giving lots of info on the flora and fauna and wildlife in the area. We had a snack and drink provided – his wife makes the best muffins – before heading back.
I would 100% recommend Zak and this tour – it was fantastic and great value for money.

Zak runs his business like clockwork. Very professional and informative. Focus is on safety and having fun too. You need to pass the training test before you hit the trails with the group. I was a nervous beginner but his patience and excellent instructions meant I was so confident and hit the trails with no problems. Zak is very knowledgeable of the area after spending 8yrs on the job, we stopped to rest and listen to his talk about the rainforest and its inhabitants. We saw frogs and bush turkeys and remnants of where feral pigs have dug holes. We walked inside a strangler fig tree, and Zak took photos for everyone. You cannot use your mobile phone whilst riding the segway. Both hands are needed for balance and steering. Zak offers to post photos on the Facebook site of his footage for us later. Morning tea stop was great. His partner makes all the food and the bottled water is welcoming. I would highly recommend this activity in the Whitsundays. Zak’s company is the only one running it. Definitely worth the money. We will be back to do it again.
