The crew were fantastic, they created an enjoyable environment that really added to the day. Would highly recommend this trip for anyone who has yet to visit Whitehaven.

First time to Airlie Beach and this was a perfect activity to see the islands. We were able to stop at the beaches and enjoy the weather for a good amount of time (not rushed). Highlight was the snorkelling – lots of fun! While it was a warm day the ride home was pretty cold especially being wet to recommend bringing a jacket.

I went on this trip with my father who is 80+we both enjoyed it, a great day out! Whitehaven is one of the places you must see in your lifetime. The crew , Neil, Luke & Rhys were engaging &knowledgeable with interesting facts , snorkelling was great , and stinger suits kept us warm. We even saw a whale & her calf on the way home. Altogether a brilliant experience. We both loved it !

The trip is amazing! There are so many huge fishes when snorkeling! So excited! Whitehaven beach is stunning!

The day was so fun! We met our tour guides who got us ready with our wetsuits and boarded the bullet. Luke, Jack, and Reese made the day so fun. We snorkeled first and saw beautiful coral, clams and fish. We then got an amazing sight of whales! The enthusiasm of the really made the experience. We stopped at got to see the beautiful views of Hill Inlet Lookout and walk down to the beach before having lunch and spending the rest of the day at Whitehaven with paddle boards and relaxation. A wonderful day!

The day wasn’t the best, a little bit chilly and rainy but it was amazing (August 30th). The island is incredible, maybe a little bit more of time to explore Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet Lookout would be necessary, but the rest was worth it. Couldn’t do paddle-surf bc of the wind, snorkel was so cool though. Specially thanks to Lexie, she was so nice. Cheers from Spain!! 🙂

Perfect. The staff was amazing. They went over and beyond helping my mother in law who recently had a hip replacement and the boys made Shute she got on and of the boat with help. We were worried she would of had to stay on board, but we all got to enjoy the trip as a family.

Wonderful day . Comfortable boat ride . Enjoyable professional crew. Tasty lunch . Most of all , of course, was the beautiful scenery…..

Just right amount of activity and relaxation and the staff were entertaining and friendly. The bullet was by far the best vessel i have travelled on great views in every direction and very comfortable.

The Captain and crewmembers are true lovers of the Wihtesundays. They did everything to make you comfortable on board. Telling great stories about the environment. Good lunch, swimming snorkeling and walking to the lookout. A Top Day.
    We loved it Jorien&Paul 👍

Fabulous day out!!!! Big shout out to Conrad who was helpful and caring towards an elderly lady. Offering assisting and being courteous and respectful goes a long way in my book!!👍

A good daytour – the guides and the skipper telling everything in a funny way.
The first stop was at a beach with little time. The hike to the 3 lookouts was worth it.
We had almost 2 hours on Whiteheaven Beach. It’s enough time to go swimming or hike to the two lookouts.
The snorkeling at the end was a bit disappointing. The visibility was bad because the reef was close to the shore.

I don’t believe that the vessel was an of an appropriate sizing for the whole adventure. We had to get dressed in our stinger suites in the seats we were sitting in. Absolutely no room at all, plus we had to eat our lunch in these seats. It was very awkward & would have been very uncomfortable for any one who may be that little bit bigger. The staff chose the size of the stinger suites & handed them to us. We had no idea what size was given to us and it was done in hurry as we needed to get on the vessel. We put our suites on when we at sea, & that’s when my hubby realised his suite was 2 sizes too small. He had no choice but to squeeze into it. He was very uncomfortable. I was also shocked at how blasé the staff were with taking us out to the reef to snorkel. There was no real guidance as to what precautions we needed to take on the competency of the individuals swimming abilities. They did offer the floating vests & noodles, but didn’t really say if your not a strong swimmer we Recommend you wear a vest or use a noodle. It was only that I had snorkelled a couple of days before that I knew I must wear a floating vest to keep me afloat as I am not a strong swimmer at all. But what shocked me the most was that they took us to the reef & left us there on our own whilst they went back to the vessel to get more people. I don’t know what would of happened if someone was struggling out in the water whilst they were back at the boat! They gave us instructions if we needed help to wave & call out to them, but most of the time they were not near us to be able to assist, they were travelling back & forth from the vessel. We also were suppose to have the opportunity to paddle board & it didn’t happen. They were questioned about it & said it wasn’t happening.

Great views and lookouts. Friendly staff, and the tour was exactly as they offered. An exceptional day with my family.

I found this trip really disappointing. I had travelled down from Cairns and decided to wait until I got to airlie to do some snorkelling instead. This trip looked like it would give me a whistle stop tour of both the whitsundays and snorkelling which was perfect for someone with limited time.
Unfortunately the weather was just not on our side which of course isn’t down to the tour company. It rained all day. Our first stop at whithaven was lovely, but thr crew didn’t tell us how long we had here, and when asked they just said keep an eye out for the boat so then we were nervous to travel too far from the coast in case we missed them! Then after the 2nd stop at hill inlet and onto our last stop of snorkelling, the engine of the boat broke. It couldn’t be repaired so we had to Unfortunately take a really slow journey back to the start without snorkelling. I’m so disappointed as this was my last day here and I now leave Australia without having done it. Again, not the crews fault but a kid also vomited everywhere which of course stank the whole boat out. The crew did what they could to clean and offered a free bar on the way back to compensate. We also received 50 refund. I score this trip a 2 out of 5 only for the crew who did the best they could

We would not recommend this company. They called just before 5pm the day prior to our trip to let us know the bullet had broken down and they were going to put us on another boat. We enquired if the travel time was longer as travellers in our party suffer from sea sickness…30-45mins max was the response (original estimate was 45 mins) and “everything else will be the same”
Turns out everything was not the same
    – The boat was not another bummer boat, but a sail boat (not good for the sea sickness!!!!)
    – Trip to Whitehaven took 3 hours (as did the return) well over the estimated time
    – Toilet in the sail boat was not mounted to the floor
    – had 30 minutes at Whitehaven (not the leisurely 2+ hours)
    – were dropped at a location for a quick snorkel (the location was selected due to it being the closest, limited fish, coral etc.)
    – no stand up paddle boarding
    – no visit to hook island
    – in the transport inflatable passengers were told to get in even though exceeding the safety requirements
    – Docked 1.5 hours later than the proposed arrival time
The crew were lovely – they did not realise that the passengers had been misled by their company and did their best to accomodate
Turns out the boat had broken down 5 days prior, but the communication being told shortly before closing time the day prior was not good enough.
If we had all information about this trip there is NO WAY we would’ve participated, but we found out in the middle of the ocean with no way to return.
Dealing with the company has also been poor. Lack of return phone calls, emails and refusing of a refund. 3 months later we have received approx 50% of the fee.
Do yourself a favour, book with ANY other company

The morning snack was a small brownie and the lunch was not good as well. The beach has no shadow and we couldnt go the the main whitehaven beach, only stayed at the lockout. The snorkel was not nice because the spot did not have fish and corals were dead

  19. Linda_A

Great day. Reece and Hugo were great guides/hosts. Beautiful trip. Lunch was really nice, as was the fruit later on in the day.

  20. Paul_T

brilliant day we were looked after from the beginning to end by Reece, Will and capt
    Reece
I can’t swim and they helped me with snorkling to I didn’t miss out and made sure I was ok at all times

We did book this trip to have an amazing experience at Whitehaven Beach.
Although, the organizers said that wasn’t possible to go to Whitehaven Beach due to the weather conditions.
Which was strange because we saw many boats at Whitehaven Beach at the same time. They have offered us free drinks, but it is still not worth it.
What’s the point of paying for this trip and not going to Whitehaven Beach?
I do not recommend this company.
