The gardens are lovely but the whole experience was made even better by our tour guide Dan. He was very knowledgeable and informed us to things as we went along on the coach that we would have otherwise missed. We learned about what was growing in the fields that we went by to Buddhist temples hidden away. We also learned some of the Canadian history. Having limited time in Victoria it was good to have places pointed out that we might like to see/experience. It was a very long day but a very good day. I am very happy to have booked this trip.

Our driver, Ocean, was humorous and personable and provided lots of information and local color to what we saw passing by our coach windows. The ferry ride was smooth. I was concerned that the food might not be good on the ferry according to other reviews but this was not the case. I thought we had a good amount of time in Buchart Gardens but maybe not if you have a bit of trouble walking. It was a beautiful place. The time in Victoria was not long enough if you wanted a deep dive but for walking around the town for a little flavor & some shopping, it was fine. It was a long day but we enjoyed ourselves.

The Butchart Garden is so beautiful, full of colour and landscape. We had 2 hours to spend there and that was sufficient. Victoria appears very nice but we only had very limited time (100 minutes) to browse around. It would have been better if we had more time in Victoria itself.

Logistically this tour was tightly organised. No complaints there. However, be aware that most of the day is spent in buses and on boats. Packing in both Butchart Gardens AND Victoria in one day from Vancouver may simply be too much. In the end I spent just around 90 minutes in Victoria, which is simply too short to really appreciate the town. I suggest making the Gardens a separate trip, so there is more time to experience Victoria

Beautiful gardens , well maintained and manicured . Only thing is that it’s far from Vancouver where we stayed, one of the restaurants was closed so lines for food were long and we were only allowed 2 hours to explore the huge place which was not enough

Ocean was a great tour driver. The coach was very comfortable. We highly recommend this adventure. Simply not having to deal with a car and the ferry is worth it!
