I would’ve like to stay till sky changed colour after sunset. I felt it packed up a bit sooner than other buses. Park was open another hour.
Apart from that the food was great. Better than I expected. Steak sausages and salads.

The tour operators were not ready for us … a table had to be set up as we were collected late and the rest of the group were already seated and had beverages … the food was ok but I hadn’t even finished eating when the chair was practically pulled from under me and we had to get back on the bus

  3. David_T

We were collected late, there was literally no room at tables or chairs until others finished. There was only about 20 minutes until the sunset so was very rushed eating to be able to enjoy the sunset.

The scenery was amazing and the view of Uluru was spectacular. Just a little disappointed, no information about the small amount of time for dinner and not happy there were not enough drinks available.

The overall experience was fabulous. The tour guides were great and the view of the rock was magical.
The food was a very basic BBQ. Meat, salad & booze (help yourself style). It was ready as soon as we arrived.
I would say a tad disappointing for the price.
However it was a great experience and every in my party had a fabulous time.

The atmosphere and hosts were great. The sunset view was brilliant, and the cold drink and BBQ was well received.

We met some lovely people. Abundance of freshly cooked meat and salads. Lots of wine beer for hubby. Drivers were very friendly and helpful. Amazing time. Sunset was disapointing but thats nature for you. No complaints here. Would prefer to book with smaller local operators. Thank you.

The evening started late as the driver who picked us up was 30 mins late, but after arriving we enjoyed the beautiful view of Uluru , nice bbq dinner,
    Enjoyed Uluru champagne sunset drinks,

The food was wonderful and plenty of it lots to drink too. The staff were friendly and helpful. Sad that we had to be rushed towards the end but I know that the people had to get back to Alice Springs.

Don’t waste your money on a less than average BBQ. Cheap sausages, steak and supermarket salads. Dessert was lamington fingers ! A meal that I would be embarrassed to serve .
The staff did not speak , introduce themselves or give any sort of commentary.
We were told ( yelled at) to hurry up and eat because as soon as the sun hits the horizon we were to back on the bus and return to our hotels.
We were asked to basically do the dishes and pack away tables and chairs. The BBQ was in the public sunset viewing area with approx 70 people paying $130 each. Save your $$$ and instead have the delicious buffet at Ilkari at Sails in the desert and watch the sunset from the viewing platform in town. For $77 per head a much better experience!

    Uluru sunset was great
The BBQ and drinks is not value for money
2 drinks per person for the price is mean

The Woolworths salads, one sausage, cheap steak, one beer and pathetic “hosts” who barked orders of where to return your plates and glasses to. Easily the most over priced “tour” I’ve ever done. So disappointing

    Honestly DO NOT RECOMMEND!
We were picked up and literally dumped on the side of a parking lot, no explanation nothing! Dumped with a bus load of about 30 people who had been on tour all day. No explanation or instructions on where to sit or get food or drinks from. It was literally a free for all walk up and get the left overs of wine and beer ( half a glass of Shiraz and 1 beer) we then asked for a seat and were told to find one…. there were none we had to ask 3 times to be given two chairs. really BAD experience… food was yum though.

Would not recommend unless you go through AAT Kings only. Was not professional or enjoyable at all with the company we went through:(

  15. Swell

We only offered one drink when we arrived every one else had eaten so it was a bit like the left overs
Picked up at 5.45 was back in the resort by 7.30pm
