Federico was an excellent tour guide. We learned so much about Uluru and Kata Tjuṯa. We enjoyed the small group and the nice people that we met. The sunset was really beautiful. Note: there should be a suggestion to purchase a fly netting. It was really helpful to have one as there are many flies

To see Uluru change of colors with the sun.
The Sky when the sun was going down the Colors Were wonderful.
    The lunch was good.
    And JAD is good guide

Great guide, awesome view at sunset with delicious BBQ (included beef steak, sausages, salads and drinks) 🙂
Loved that the ticket included the national park 3-day pass so we could explore ourselves the following days.

Good tour not many tour companies take you out to the Olgas which is another rock formation and well worth the visit. In fact we were the only group out there.
A must is a fly net for the face, you can purchase them at the village in Ayers Rock.
BBQ good at the end of the day watching the sun go down.
Beware there is a lot of walking – take lots of water if in the summer

The tour was very busy and we saw many of the highlights of both Uluru and Kata Tjuta in 7 hours. The guild/driver was very knowledgeable and friendly and took some great photos of us together.

This was an excellent tour, the commentary was very informative. There was some walking and you need to take water with you on this trip. The BBQ dinner was very good and the sites were fabulous. Yad took very good care of us during the tour with snacks and treats. Highly recommend this tour.

Fun, interesting tour of the best that Uluru and Kata Tjuta has to offer. Supurb view of Uluru ar Sunset. Be careful travelling in March. It was extremely hot.

Guide Yad was friendly and informative. The guided walks at uluru were interesting. The sunset was magnificent.

Our guide was great however I feel like Emu Run let him and us down, as they did not provide two guides as promised. The tour of Kata Tjuṯa was not as detailed and informative as we expected, and at the sunset lookout, the bigger Emu Run bus did not provide our guide with the drinks (they were running late so instructed him to start the bbq, but forgot to give him the drinks so our group was left waiting for an hour in the heat with no refreshments). I felt sorry for our guide as a few of the other passengers were complaining and not happy, but he had been thrown under the bus by his company. I will probably not book with Emu Run again. That said, we still had a lovely day despite the heat, and the sunset was incredible.

First, let me say that this may be a great tour at another time of the year. Starting at 11:30 am, It was over 100 deg F and was too much for us. We ended up only doing the the Kata-Tjuta portion of the tour which only gave us about 45 minutes at the site, enough time to walk up to the water hole and back. Not sure if the rest of the site was off limits or just that the tour was limited. We had also booked another tour that was only related to Uluru; so we didn’t feel like stopping in the middle cost us the full experience of the park. The tour guide was very knowledgable about the park and history of the area.

We had a great time! Not many people, our tour guide Federico was very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. He took us to great lookout points where you can take the best pictures of Uluṟu and Kata Tjuta. It’s breathtaking! Highly Recommended 🙂

Seeing the beautiful mountain in all its glory in resplendent red was fantastic. The guide, Federico, was very knowledgeable about the owners of the Rock and surrounding territories. The trip to Kaja Tuja was good but very short and you could only travel a short way into the canyon. The most interesting bit was Uluru and the great colours and also that it cannot be climbed anymore. BBQ terrific, plenty to eat and drink and great sight of the sunset.

Carlos was great on the walking tour of Uluṟu! Well paced tour! Fantastic experience. A must do!! Dinner watching the sunset was spectacular

After joining the main coach it was clearly obvious that Emu Run Experiences had sold too many seats for the working seats of the bus to meet transport safery. I was unable to sit in a seat with the safety of a seatbelt as the base of the seat was broken. It was a huge disappointment as we had booked many months in advance and I had to stand on the bus for the entire journey. I have contacted the company about this issue and am still yet to receive any reply.

The Olgas was a sight to see, we walked in between them quiet huge and bright red in colour. Ayres rock was massive , our guide stopped us a few times around it and told us a few aboriginal stories.
So many flies so bring a face net. Topped the day with a great BBQ lots of food and great scenery of Uluru.
Only down point the bus was small only to fit 15 people, I felt very squashed and air conditioning was minimal especially on a 37 degree day.

The tour was ok, but the guide was not great. He left us sitting on the bus for 45 minutes with no explanation. That was a bad start and we lost time at the Cultural Centre – 15 minutes was really not enough to see anything there. He was very rude to some people who got back late to the bus from the cultural centre. They were only late that once and he really tried to humiliate them. Very uncomfortable. And he couldn’t answer some simple questions at about cave art. I’m sure he’s a nice person otherwise, but I think tour guiding is not for him.

50 people was too big of a tour. A couple times during tour several people got off and others got on. Never could sit in same seat twice. May or may not get to sit with your spouse. Advertised snacks. Non were served. Not 2 guides just the driver, who was a dear. They did have plenty of water on board to refill your bottles. Tour started at 11: 00 am. Way too hot to start at that time. I suggest driving yourself. Almost no traffic so driving on left would be no problem for those that drive on right normally. BBQ was OK.

The sights of Kata Tjuta on particular and the magnificent rise of the Uluru. The guide/driver was very knowledgeable and explained the significance and the history of both Uluru and Kata Tjuta very well. BBQ dinner was informal but quite good. The only criticism of this tour was that no snacks were provided as it said would be, in the tour description for such a long tour. Only an apple was provided towards the end of the tour.

I loved everything about this tour. We were a bit rushed as the driver from Alice to Uluru was new but the new driver tried to make up for it. He was great and loved the stories he shared. A tip would be to include the people picked up from Uluru in yr lunch schedule. We were picked up at 11.30 by shuttle and only 7 of us. The Vista’s, stops and fellow travellers were amazing. Sunset BBQ was just awesome.

  20. Kaitlin_D

This tour is great if you aren’t in the area super long. You hit the highlights of both sites, enough to get a good feel for it. The bugs in the area are bad, just as a warning. Great tour!

  21. Rosemary_G

The tour itself was amazing. Our guide was great and very knowledgeable. The only thing was we were rushed a bit at each stop. I presume because we joined people who had travelled from Alice Springs. I think a tour just from Yulara on smaller buses would of worked better. Disappointed we missed a couple of things because we weren’t ‘fast walkers’. The BBQ and viewings was great though.
