My boyfriend and I both enjoyed this experience very much! We had a private helicopter flight and were able to have a complete overview of the whole city and nearby towns. A perfect introduction to Cape Town! We were picked up by a golf cart right in the middle of V&A and quickly escorted to the helipads where the team was waiting for us and quickly signed us in. Our pilot, Paul was very friendly and informative. He gave us a lot of new information about the city and local tips which we found very helpful. The flight was very smooth and an experience we will never forget. This is a must do activity in Cape Town. Thank you Paul and Cape Town Helicopters.

My sister and me booked this tour when we arrived in Cape Town. The company were very efficient and confirmed our booking very quickly. It was very easy to walk to the helipad in Cape Town, though we stopped by the company’s stand at the Waterfront and were offered a ride in a buggy! On arrival, the staff were incredibly professional and were were given a safety briefing. We were then weighed as where you sit in the helicopter depends on your weight. Paul was our pilot. He was fantastic; very informative and gave us every opportunity to see as much as possible irrespective of where was person was sat. So no-one was disadvantaged. We wore headphones and a microphone during the flight so we could speak with each other and hear him tell us about different points of interest. Seeing Cape Town and the local coastlines from the air was was money very well spent. We would highly recommend it.

Cape Town in the sky is so different an exciting despite the fact that I have spend at least four years during my tertiary education life here in Cape Town.

We got super lucky with perfect weather, not only saw the majestic peninsula but also seagulls feeding on fish offshore, seals and dolphins from the air. Flight was well organized, on time, and highly professional.

Seeing the beautiful scenery of the pickman’s chip and the Cape Town stadium from a bird’s eye view.

I booked the scenic Two Oceans helicopter flight at Cape Town Helicopters, which lasts approximately 25 minutes. To get the best possible lighting situation for pictures and videos I went for the last flight at 4 pm. The check-in at the operator center was a very pleasant and fast experience. After a short wait, I was led to a very small helicopter and greeted by Megan, the pilot of my trip. I got seated, buckled up, a headphone was put on my head, and off we went. What an amazing experience! I got a lot of interesting info’s from Megan, but the best are the incredible and unforgettable views. I had already a couple of helicopter flights in Hawaii, Grand Canyon, Ayers Rock, etc, but this was clearly the flight with the most impressive views. Most probably also caused by the small helicopter that allows an even less obstructed view and by the very experienced helicopter pilot. This flight is an absolute must on any visit to Cape Town.

Flying is always beautiful but this scenery is absolutely stunning.
Everybody at the company is really friendly and prepared and the itinerary is definitely well organized.
We did the 25min-flight which was beautiful but they also offer longer trips to Cape of Good Hope and back which I will totally do in the future. When we landed we have been informed that we could also join a boat trip in the bay. We did that too obviously, and we had the luck to see some whales. Awesome.

From booking the service through Viator to the product delivery; helicopter ride for 4, we had a great time. The event was simple and easy to book and I would highly recommend. GP.

The actual helicopter ride was a 5 star experience – definitely a must do in Cape Town. Our pilot Megan was friendly and accommodating and her commentary throughout the flight was very interesting. It is however so sad when you pay this much for such impolite and and rude service.
Over the phone I asked if there were any food options as it was a special event for my girlfriend and I – the lady replied in an abrupt and sarcastic tone stating: “we are not a food company. we are a helicopter company.” her name is Charne.
Secondly our flight was booked for 12:00. At 12:25 no one had bothered to inform us of the delay. I personally did not mind the delay but it is unprofessional to not communicate this to us as we had other plans for the day. Lastly, I do not believe the helicopter and headsets are being thoroughly sanitized (if at all) as my seat was dirty and my headset was greasy with finger prints.

Handled a difficult situation on the ground well. Flight was excellent and gave a good opportunity to see the sites of the cape peninsula from the air. Would definitely recommend for those visiting the city.

The operators of this tour are very efficient; however, there is a feeling of being rushed through a conveyor belt system. In and out! We were crammed into a copter with another family and the tour was a standard slow loop over Cale Town. It did not go over the two oceans nor where they meet. Very disappointed in that as it was not what was advertised. It was a nice view of Cape Town and the shore and table Mountain. Would recommend but don’t expect anything other than the standard loop. It is not over the two oceans

This is a breath taking way to see one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Megan our pilot was so welcoming and properly guided us as we flew this incredible route.

The view and experience was unique. Your sitting does matter. I would request a particular sit upon booking.

Great ride. Seeing the city, Cape Peninsula, and Table Mountain by sky was amazing. Smooth ride and efficient operator made it easy.

  20. Vera_L

Its no two oceans, just a tour around the city
Captain said that in order to see two oceans we have to fly 1 hr east on the small plane , so we paid 250$ pp just to see two oceans ( we didn’t see) we could pay 130$ pp and to go around the city ( samy as we did with this tour) it’s ripped off and not honest advertising

  21. Peter_R
