Our guide, Denisa, was spectacular. She was knowledgeable, personable, and most importantly, she worked to engage our (somewhat disengaged) 11 year old. Like most good guides, she put history into the context of stories, and tied them together into a nice fabric. It’s not inexpensive, but if you really want to take a deep dive into the Tower, it’s the way to go. By the way, February is definitely the time to visit — no crowds!

We’ll worth seeing the Tower of London, including Crown Jewels, with a knowledgeable tour guide. Denisa, our guide, had an engaging way to tell us the stories of English monarchies over the centuries. Highly recommend!

Worth the cost. Added depth and personality to an already amazing historical site. Appreciated the knowledge and excitement our tour guide provided to the day.

Her knowledge of history and her ability to make the tour enjoyable was that more pleasant. She was on time and was very professional.

My guide Ainura met me near the Tower of London. I was running late but she was super courteous and stayed in communication via text as to my progress. She gave me such great background information that I believe I enjoyed seeing the Crown Jewels in a way few others have. I knew what to expect in each item, its incredible historical and modern significance as well as appreciating their values. Her explanation of the Culinan diamonds was very special and something I will remember forever. I actually went through the jewels four times because I was recalling all the things she explained to me about each item. She enabled me to understand and appreciate the history and structures of the royal fortress and London landmark on a level I could not have imagined. As we toured the ancient fortress, she explained its founding in the Norman Conquest and then how it was used through the Henry the 8th period and up through WWII. I knew that Anne Boleyn held a special place in British history and was a very sympathetic figure but I really did not understand why until Ainura explained it to me. I am so grateful to her for the experience she provided me.

We had so looked forward to this tour. The Tower of London and all its history. Our guide was really very nice and informative as to the very basic history, however nothing terribly unique or any insider stories. The guide said he was not allowed to go inside (The Crown Jewels, Armoury, etc.) to explain what we were seeing, which left us hanging, so to speak. It only lasted about an hour and a half, which was very disappointing. We had a comparable tour of Hampton Court with a tour guide that went everywhere with us and explained everything at a quarter of the cost. For the price we paid for the Tower tour, we expected so much more! Definitely NOT worth it. Don’t waste your money!

This is a must for anyone trying to see the city on your own. By far our favorite tour and Anthony our tour guide was fabulous! He took us to see so much, we had requested to visit Abby Road which he immediately said “let’s go” we even got to visit the gift shop. Informative and easy, honestly do it, you won’t regret it!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed Lucy’s presentation of stories that brought history to life. It was like spending the morning with a very informed and entertaining friend.

Tour very felt rushed. We were running to keep up. Very short seemed the guide had prior arrangements
