He shared such interesting information about each item and area we visited. The beautiful entry hall to the British Museum sets the expectation of a glorious experience and it does not disappoint. It is a very large museum and so we decided to do a small group of 8 on a guided tour. Our knowledgeable guide Ellie gave us a historical perspective on the origins of the museum and its importance and was an expert at using these details during each displays. At our request we wanted to concentrate on the Egyptian area and see many of the antiquities we had read about. Ellie gave clear explanations and she was lively in her descriptions of the culture and events. She encouraged questions and her answers were spot on. I highly recommend visiting the museum and particularly having our wonderful guide Ellie direct the tour!
