It was a lovely day but the best parts were the view from Mary Cairncross, the view at the waterfall at the end of the day and the beautiful spot we had lunch in – so relaxing and special and we definitely want to go back there.

although the weather hindered the view for most of the lookouts, it didn’t stop us enjoying the cheese, wine, chocolate and lunch. Not your typical wine tasting at a cellar door, instead we tried a selection of local wines at the barrel, a restaurant. The mix of cheese/food/wine and chocolate was well balanced and a nice change from tours that only focus on wine. Overall an enjoyable experience, it was just a shame about the weather.

From start to finish this was an exceptional experience. We shared the trip with a lovely couple from Melbourne and had a very special day.
The tour guide, Jeff (Geoff) was beyond good. He knew answers to all the questions and knew all the locations to get the best photos and information. The lunch location was in a class of it’s own and the food was excellent.
All 3 aspects of the trip – cheese, wine and chocolate were excellent, well presented and very enjoyable to say the least.
The “spare” time that we had to investigate the area was also really good and made a huge difference to just being ‘herded’ around on a fixed schedule.
I have to say that Jeff is a real asset to your company and whatever it is you pay him, it’s not enough.
