This was a wonderful tour especially the rock formations and pottery factory. The guide provided a wealth of information and worked very hard to keep all of us on time. I would highly recommend this tour to family and friends. We are planning to take the Green Tour with this company since they did such a good job on the Red Tour. Very easy to arrange over the internet, even though we didn’t have access to our phone. They were very helpful and responsive.

Before I booked this tour I had read the reviews and saw how highly recommend this tour and Pupa Travel were. I noted reviews saying how knowledgable the guides were and that they had a great sense of humour. Unfortunately, those guides must have taken the day off when I had my tour.
Firstly, I could tell my guide wasn’t confident with his English. I’m a native speaker and I appreciate the complexities of English, but for a guide doing a tour in English I believe being confident with one’s language skills is essential. There were a few times throughout the tour where there were some mistranslations, but as a native speaker I could understand the context and get what he was trying to say. For example, he compared Cappadocia’s famous fairy chimneys to that of Utah’s Bryce Canyon. He then said, “The difference is that Utah has no culture or religion.” I nearly blurted out, “Excuse me?!” What he meant was that people in Utah don’t live in fairy chimneys (but I’m not sure he quite understood that Utah very much has religion). I have quite a connection to Utah, so I was pretty fired up by that comment. Anyway…
I later had questions during the tour and my guide was so difficult to speak to. He was a nice guy, but he was painfully shy and again, not confident with his English. It was like pulling teeth trying to talk to him. He gave very little information on the places visited and I was pretty disappointed about that. I could’ve done the tour myself and just read the Wikipedia pages as I went along.
What was perhaps the most unpleasant part of the tour was the “jewellery workshop.” This “workshop” was Pink Lotus’ showroom and the employees were like sharks with my group. Everyone was very uncomfortable with how intimidating the employees were about the jewellery. I even had to tell one employee to stop talking to me, but she continued to follow me anyway. I had to seek refuge in the restroom to get away from them, and I wanted to tell the guide but he was outside smoking. I’m quite a reserved person, but I really felt like I had to be very assertive (borderline aggressive) with Pink Lotus’ employees to get them away from me. The only perk of this stop was the clean restroom.
Overall, I’d say do the Red Tour, but choose another company.

Great and informative! Our guide was fun, willing to answer all additional questions and full of knowledge. We visited many unique, beautiful places and had lots of fun 🎉

The guide Naz tried her best but things were amiss from being informative and educational as I would have liked. Best part of the tour was the company of others but the activity pretty much consisted of drop off, 5-10 minute photos and then moving on. Lunch at the Han buffet was pretty bad as well.

The tour started late due to ‘unavoidable circumstances’. But it went pretty well. The tour guide was amiable and kept us informed. The lunch was surprisingly good with a good amount of options in both Turkish and international cuisines. They really pick up from and drop to hotel and coordinate well with them regarding any late etc. Only complaint is it could be a little fast-paced but then, we are on holiday and nobody had any prior commitments. I recommend this tour.

This was a great tour! Good amount of time spent at all the sites. Did not feel rushed or like we were there for too long. Our guide Hakan was so great and informative. He answered any questions anyone had.
The lunch was good and had options.
The pottery shop was very cool and had a lot of nice things, but expensive and they definitely try to sell you hard on buying something.
Overall, definitely worth it and a great day.
