Emily was a great tour guide! She is very helpful and energetic. Emily is patient and kind. The sad part about the tour is that I lost my credit card after I bought a lot of stuff in Insadong. The last time I saw it was when I went back to the bus upon leaving Insadong. I discovered i lost my credit card only after the tour was finished and we were in Myeongdong around 7PM. I messaged “Contact tour operator” and asked Sue who was the contact to help us check the bus we rode on if ever they may have found my credit card there. Sue replied with the message that she will check with the bus operator around 7:30PM same night. Following morning came and no message back from Sue and so I sent a follow up. 12 NN came and no response from Sue still. I was almost about to complain about the lack of response when I accidentally saw Emily again while we were having a DMZ tour in the DMZ Exhibit Center as Emily was holding a tour with another group. Immediately after I told her about our lost credit card, she contacted her driver from our tour the previous day and had him check the bus. Emily immediately was told and updated us that the credit card was not in the bus, and I may have dropped it somewhere else. You see the thing i did not like was the lack of response from Sue. It does not look like Sue also contacted Emily and the driver of the bus even though she promised she would. This is why I am giving this review an average rating for lack of feedback from Sue. If it was not for Emily who was a great person, I would not recommend this tour again. I have been a consistent Viator customer and this experience kind of gave me a first-time negative experience with Viator. Hope you can provide feedback to customer as early as possible in situations like this. We rely heavily on credit cards when we travel abroad, and a prompt response from Viator would be highly appreciated.

I am so happy I booked this tour for our family. The pickup was excellent and so were their vehicles. Our tour guide was Moon and she was so knowledgeable about her country’s history and facts. She was so hands-on when it comes to making sure everyone was accounted for and all needs within her capacity were met. I would recommend any tour by this company and especially with Moon to anyone looking for a great time out learning about South Korea’s history. Thanks, Moon for a memorable tour!
