The trip is nice. Beautiful view and our tour guide is so friendly and helpful. Lunch is delicious, the Resturant is nice.
I booked the tour, but due to my sickness, I couldn’t make it on the day, my husband went to the meeting point and talked to the tour guide, she called the main office and switched our tour to the next day. Thanks for your understanding and the arrangement.

Our guide, Delfina, was excellent. Both vineyard visits were informative, the port tastings were very good. Lunch was tasty and the wine served plentiful. From the point of view of colours, November was a good time to visit, gorgeous mass of golden and red. Unfortunately, it rained heavily for much of the day, most probably not unusual at that time of year.
The microphone on the minibus did not work, sitting at the back we could not hear any of the information.
The boat trip was a disappointment, not an hour long as described and although we were given a port sample there was no form of commentary. Pick up times need to better coordinated. We were told 08.15, when I rang at 08.30 on a UK mobile to enquire about ETA it rang off. When my friend tried on her Portuguese mobile it was answered! Eventual pick up 08.45.

I love the guide Ivo’s sense of humour. The narrative on the ride was very funny and informative.
At the end of the first vineyard visit, people had time to buy wines in the shop, while non-buyers needed to wait outside in the cold. It would have been better if non-buyers were allowed to wait in the van instead.
The lunch was disappointing – the salmon was overcooked.
The visit to the second vineyard was replaced with a visit to a wine shop. The explanation in the first vineyard and the wine shop was somewhat repetitive. And I liked the first vineyard more than the wine shop, as I got to see the production process, the explanation was livelier, and the wines more to my taste.
We did not stop at, just passed by, the Pinhão Railway Station.
Both the boat cruise and the viewpoint offered beautiful views.
