Excellent experience! We left from our hotel, with an excellent tour guide named OSCAR. We traveled to the Douro Valley and spent the day visiting two wineries. We stopped for coffee and had a Portuguese lunch. We also made a stop in Pinhao and had time to take a walk around town. We were taken back to our hotel at the end of the tour. Great experience, highly recommended.

Our tour guide was amicable and welcoming. I was traveling solo first time, but I didn’t feel left alone. When I was booking the tour, I didn’t read where was the meeting point and they needed to arrange the ride for me because I was staying in Porto. I paid an extra fee, but it was worth it. The senary and wine in Duollo Valley is spectacular. I highly recommended it!

Très belle découverte de cette région viticole le long du Douro. Les guides français de chacun des 2 domaines visités ont complété nos connaissances. La mini croisière depuis Pinhao est un excellent complément. Rien à redire

We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel by our very friendly and helpful driver Oscar who also made some very good recomendations for restaurants and activities for the following days. The tour was guided by Ricardo who was also very friendly and gave us a lot of information about the region and its history. He was always up for a joke and made the tour truly memorable.
At the vinyards the group was a lot larger and the information about the production was hard to understand. During the tastings the information about the ports and wines was sparse and time to enjoy them was short. We also would have apreciated a larger variety of ports and wines to compare to each other.
Lunch was delicious and more than enough. We would have apreciated some information about the wines that came with the food though.
The river cruise was a great way to view the fantastic landscape from another perspective. It is a bummer though that they dont serve any wine on the boat.
The tour ends with a short stop on a scenic viewpoint which is great to take in the beauty of the valley from yet another perspective. Perfect for some group or couple photos.
All in all a great trip to get an overview of the douro valley with an awesome guide. If you are really into wine and porto though, you should probably look for a more specialized tour.

Rainy day did not detour this fun tour! Enjoyed the quintas, lunch was delicious, & River cruise was a fun cap to the day! Recommend!

The tour is mostly fine except the boat trip is crammed and kinda scuffed. There aren’t openable windows, fan or air conditioning in the middle session. The boat isn’t fast enough to generate enough airflow to the middle session so it’s way too hot.
We went for 2 wineries which were different from the two that in the description. Not that I would noticed the differences. For those who staying at the region and want to visit more wineries might by themselves might want to be aware of this.
Tasty 3-course lunch and free flow of white & red wine.
Pick up and drop off were available.

The boat ride up the Douro highlighted the sublime beauty of the river and bright green terraced hills. It was both relaxing & fun. The generous samples of port wine didn’t hurt either. The lunch was tasty & set in a beautiful vineyard. Our driver, Delfina, was the coolest & very accommodating. Tip: Bring a bottle of water.
