Great trip. Boat skipper very funny during his commentary. My original booking was for the port and docks but due to a high tide they offered me the alternate cruise up river which I accepted. When we returned and tied up, the river level had dropped enough to allow the boat under the bridge and they offered me a free trip which I took. Once again enjoyed myself.

i thoroughly enjoyed the hour round to Docklands even though the weather wasn’t perfect.
The only thing that would have made the journey complete and more informative would have been if there was a running commentary of the history of the various sites and some history of the past along the waterways. There is so much that could have been said to put it in perspective.

The tour guide was terrible, he was an embittered, who didn’t even tried to make people have a good time. The tour in general mostly focuses on the industrial part of Melbourne not in the city itself which is not interesting and relevant for most of the tourists.

Tour operator had a lot of information about the area which was interesting. We could’ve understood more if he spoke a little slower. Ticket attendant told us we were going toward the city but in fact we traveled the other direction. So just pay attention to the direction of the trip. They offer both directions.
