Was a wonderful experience to meet the elephants and hear the stories of where they were rescued from. We fed, mudded and bathed them. The guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. We also had a short cooking demonstration and learnt how they make paper from the poo. It was an unforgettable morning.

We had a perfect day at the elephant sanctuary. The animals are treated and cared for in the best possible way. First we prepared food for the animals, then rubbed it down with mud and finally we bathed with them. It was an unforgettable experience. There have been several elephants so that there are never many people at an elephant. If the animals don’t feel like bathing or splashing about, they can move about freely and just run away. The nurses there were super nice and answered all questions. The food was really good!!!! At the end everyone was given a souvenir. Images are completely free! It was a perfect day with such amazing animals. The tour is worth every penny.

Cannot recommend this tour enough.. the elephants look happy and roam free.
The mahoots look after the gentle giants well and the tour guides (Smile, Sky and Chow) make the entire tour interesting with their funny banter, and also tell the story of the magnificent beasts and their horrific pasts.
The lunch buffet (with a cooking class thrown in) was great too.
Great way to spend half a day with these amazing creatures amidst a beautiful locale. I also loved the fact that they dont encourage/entertain any animal riding in this sanctuary.
