It was a really great experience. The guide was super nice and attentive. You could move almost freely on the site and feed each of the 7 (or so) elephants. Even the little ones with milk. Even lunch was delicious and drinks were free. Can really only recommend it to everyone.

Amazing experience! Elephants are such beautiful, peaceful and friendly animals. This experience was so fulfilling and I am so glad I got to experience caring for an elephant. However I do believe it may be a ploy to attract tourists. Apparently all elephants have their own handler. One handler, was not very kind to his elephant (he was only a little baby). This happened behind closed doors, as I witnessed him taking the elephant into a corner to clean him but he was being so mean! He was pushing him around and shouting at him, and the elephant had a rope around his neck and he was pulling it so hard!!! He was also making angry gestures with his face and hands to the elephant. I went up to them to just stroke him and ask him if he’s meant to be that harsh. However he did not understand English but all of a sudden he started being nice to him. And one of the elephants bowed down to us after feeding him, I do think this was taught to him. But overall nice experience.
