Was delighted to see the beaches, museum and cemetery. The day felt very rushed and I really wanted more time at each of the major locations. The bus was clean and comfortable. The guides were pleasant and had some facts about the region and Normandy, but were not particularly expert. The lunch was poor. The ciderie was interesting, but my main focus for the day was the D-day experience so it felt a bit of a waste of time, given that each of the other stops was so short.

Overall, it was a good trip. Our guide was excellent.
For each stop (Omaha, Utah, museum, etc.), you are on your own. There isn’t a guided tour. But the monuments are marked and the museum material is in English, so an English speaking visitor has no problems with those.
The mid-day lunch was OK. Nothing fancy. The first rest stop after about two hours on the road is a good one. You can get a coffee or buy a snack if you wish.
    The cider tour was outstanding.
Overall, I’d give the tour about 4 stars. Because of the long bus ride, there really isn’t enough time for each stop, especially Omaha (where the museum is excellent). But it’s certainly a good value for variety of things you see.

This was a great tour but prepare for a very long day. The bus ride to the beaches was about 3 and a half hours from Paris. The bathroom on the bus was not functional so we stopped at a gas station/store after about 2 hours. The guide gave us 25 to use the facility and get a coffee, but the lines were long and it was barely enough time. Utah beach was the first beach and it was amazing with a museum. We had about an hour and could have used twice as long. I haven’t been on a lot of bus tours but there always is that anxiety about what to see in the short time you have. Lunch was good with choice of baked fish and chips, ham and potatoes, or pizza. We stopped at a wine tasting that was a waste of time. There were some nice tastings but as another person pointed out if you bought more than a small bottle you would not be able to bring it on a flight. Omaha beach was impressive also. Our tour guide Raymond was excellent and a wealth of knowledge.
