The tour guide and driver, Irman ( hope it”s correct spelling ) gave good insights of the places and life of people/ tourists in Dubai . He gave a running commentary as we drove through the city. The portion of time given to the different places was good. The visit to The view at the Palm Jumeirah was exciting but could have been informed earlier. Glad to be that I was picked up and sent back to the hotel .Well organised tour

Our guide, Waseem, was an excellent guide. He gave us alot of history and information which was very helpful. The only problem was he never got out of the car. I understand there may not be anywhere to park but when you pay for a guided tour you should get a guided tour. We did not enjoy the spice market at all. The vendors were way too aggressive. You couldn’t stop and even look at anything. So we went across the street and took a boat ride. Imagine our surprise when we , later looked over what was offered with the tour and found we were to get a boat ride as part of our tour. Waseem did get us to places that were not yet crowded so we could enjoy each stop. It was a good tour to see the city.

This was a cursory overview of Dubai. It was basically a taxi ride around the city with the guide performing drop-off and pick-up services. Time at sites of interest ranged from 15-45 minutes. Since we were left on our own, there was no value other than the car, of which we has no discretion with regards to stop and take pictures. I would not waste money on this particular venue.
