I really enjoyed this tour. I had been to Nairobi many times before but not since 1993 and so seeing the change was fabullous. Obed was a great guide, very friendkly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk to. The tour in the national museum was great, we had a good ramble around the city, visited a marked and proceeded to Boma of Kenya and this was the highlight for me. The dancers were great and seeing the various recreated villages was well worth it. A very enjoyable day, indeed!

First thing we noticed was that there was no bottled water in the van as promised in the discretion, This might not seem like a big deal, but we didn’t bring our own because we were told it was provided, and considering how long we spent in the car, we needed it. First stop at Kenyatta International Conference Center but the center was closed. D they not know this from before? seems like poor planning. In the description it says lunch would be at Carnivore, which we were looking forward to, but didn’t actually end up going there. Overall the tour was nice, the driver was very friendly and polite, but be ready to spend way too much time in the car. between visiting sites by car only, and the traffic to get to the hotel a the end of the day, we could not wait to be out if the van.

Nice overview of the city with a few stops that were not even on the itinerary. My guide Dennis went our of his way to show me a few places I wanted to see. He was professional, friendly and educational. I highly recommend.

My half day cultural tour and especially Obed, my tour guide, was fantastic. I cannot say enough positive about how wonderful and educationally fulfilling my day was.

Our guide, Obed, was very knowledgeable about Nairobi and Kenyan history in general. He took extra time to be sure we had a full experience at each of the places we visited. I recommend him to anyone who wants to see Nairobi.

Obed is a fantastic guide. He has very deep knowledge about the history of Kenya and Nairobi, also about the political flows. His explanations and commentaries are very colorful. He takes good care of his guests, he arrived absolutely on time and he is very polite. He goes beyond the promises of the tour, he was kind to include some places to the tour which I was especially interested in. We spent together lots of hours and the time just flew.
This is my first time in Africa and as a white woman I read about many safely warnings, of course, but with Obed I felt very safe. Actually the whole city looks safe, clean and modern.
This is a superb city tour with all of the must sees within the city.
I highly recommend it!

The tour is filled with wonderful views of Nairobi with insightful guidance into the city history and current affairs along the way. It was most enjoyable walking through the museum, the downtown streets and the Bomas. Many souvenir shopping options were also shown

Overall this was a good tour. Our guide went above and beyond to accomodate us. The one thing I will mention is that bottled water was not included when they said it would be. We were taken to buy some and it was very inexpensive, but for the price of the tour, if they say that it’s provided they should actually provide it. It was especially helpful to have a local guide take us through the busiest parts of town, this is not something foreigners can easily do by themselves. I strongly recommend a guided tour such as this one if you want to see downtown Nairobi.

Our tour guide, Moses, was really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We went first to the National Museum. The visit there was really interesting. After that, he took us to see Nairobi from above, then for a walk through the centre… he even helped us pick up a good sim card. Finally, we saw the Bomas of Kenya, where we really enjoyed the show.
All in all we felt safe and well taken care of. Definitely recommended.
