The tour was very worthwhile (even for this not exactly cheap price)! After all, it is a very nice route to drive from Christchurch. The tour guide and driver Gary is a particularly dear and very very experienced guide who has a lot of interesting things to tell while driving – not too little, not too much. There were enough stops in between, lots of snacks, drinks and great opportunities to take photos. The highlight, however, was the Tasman Glacier, which you can drive up to and then take about 15 to 20 minutes to walk up. There you have a breathtaking view of Lake Tasman and the whole great mountainous landscape around it. After 12 o’clock you are already done, but the great impressions and photos are definitely worth it. Many thanks to Gary, who was more than accommodating and gave you such a pleasant tour! I can only recommend it.
