The scenery was quite spectacular at all the places we stopped. Our guide drove safely and provided interesting comments along the way.
It is a long trip from Christchurch. The climb up to the glacier viewing point was somewhat strenuous for older people.

Our guide/driver was very knowledgeable and entertaining and kept us informed at all times. The road time seemed to go quickly thanks to the drivers interaction.

The scenery along the route and especially the lakes. It was amazing to be able to get close to the icebergs and glacier on cook mountain. The 350 step trek to see the glacier was challenging but provided a good workout. The guide/driver Manoj was outstanding. He gave relevant information everywhere and took great care in ensuring everyone’s safety and ability to share in all experiences. Although the journey was quite long Manoj made or offered adequate stops to refresh and get pictures.

We had a wonderful day that exceeded all expectations! Our driver guide was fantastic and super caring, knowledgeable and helpful. He definitely made its special and is in one of my photos. We were nearly overwhelmed with the beauty of every stop, a very long day that was paced well, nd the day we will never forget! Very Highly Recommend! It would be a good idea to update the notes about food. It says a lunch is no longer included so we pack food for the day only to find we stopped At one great school food spot after another….Thank you!
