A great experience with a magnificent view of the harbor. There is nothing wrong with the event itself. However, what was incredibly poorly organized is the arrival when you arrive by public transport. The botanical gardens are closed in the evening and you have to walk over 2 km, there are no signs anywhere, nobody knows, and many visitors wander around aimlessly. If the direct route from Google doesn’t work (through the botanical gardens) then you should make sure that people know where to go.

The story was everything I remembered from my childhood. I remembered every song, and all the characters. What was new to me was the incredible setting! The props were standing on a skylit stage over the beautiful Sydney Harbour. I will never forget seeing the Sydney Opera’s West Side Story for the rest of my life! What an experience! I cried when it was over!

It was a very very cold and windy night unfortunately for us. We had to leave at intermission because my friend was from Perth and he was not use to the cold!
