What a fantastic way to experience VIVID. Being amongst a small group of people made for a very special experience with great viewing and photo opportunities. I’d say the highlight was being in prime position to watch the Aquatique Water Theatre at Darling Harbour. Our boat was at the front of all other boats, providing the best views as we relaxed with our dinks and nibbles on the front deck. Amazing!!!!

What a magical night out on the harbour seeing Vivid! The staff and captain were all welcoming and couldn’t have been more attentive. We had the best view of Vivid and even managed to see the 7PM laser projection show at Darling Harbour courtesy of some very clever steering from the captain. I highly recommend this as a great way to spend some time on the harbour and see the Vivid lights.

The views of the VIVID lighting were fantastic. The crew were friendly and generous with drinks, and the length of the cruise was just right. Only issue was the food, we had to eat off a paper napkin, and the food selection was very basic. We did enjoy it overall.

This was a great way to experience Vivid. Being on a smaller boat, we were able to cruise close to many of the light installations. Seeing the Sydney Opera House sails lit up and being so close was amazing. The food was great too and the staff were very attentive. I will be definately wanting to book the same cruise for Vivid in 2017.

Wonderful trip! Bec & Howard did a great job with greeting us at the dock- are wine glasses never went empty along with plenty of food and desserts. Also did a good job explaining city sites along the way. Would highly recommend….Charlie did a great job driving the boat as well.

However……Boat did not leave from the Pier it was labeled to leave from. Much confusion as the boat name n departure time of 6:30 did not appear on the board till after the scheduled departure time and it left from a different Pier number….
Also……did not pull out of the boat slip/dock till 7pm. It was sold/advertised as a “2” hour Cruise. It was 7pm to 8:30pm, only 1:30, not the full “2” hrs as advertised.
Very disappointing when you, the consumer/guest /passenger are paying for a full “2” hours.

It was an excellent experience. It was almost like having a private yacht for the Vivid harbor cruise. All the crew from captain to hosts were warm and welcoming. Offering many interesting facts and history of the harbor and surrounds. The sights from the boat were breathtaking. We could have sat there for hours sipping drinks and enjoying the scrumptious and plentiful finger foods on offer. We would recommend this tour to anyone looking for something more warm and intimate than those crowded and noisy alternative cruises.
