Marcos was a fantastic guide as well as the whole crew. Very professional, friendly and knowledgable about the whales. We had the best time and would highly recommend this trip!
Stanley_A –

This is a great tour. If you go to Cabo and don’t do a whale tour, ou are missing out. There a lot of options for whale watching tours. Many are small boats that bounce on the waves and can require you wear a bulky life jacket the entire time.. This was a great choice. We paid $119 pepperoni which makes it more expensive than some but worth the extra cost. The catamaran is approx. 47′ with amenities such as a bathroom and food and beverages.
The crew is top notch providing a friendly, courteous, fund, and educational experience. We saw the famous Cabo arch up close, learned about whales and the area and sea life. They answered everyones questions, used underwater microphones sharing whale songs, and most importantly gave us the opportunity to see many whales surfacing and diving.
Kudos to the crew and this wonderful memory the helped create for us.

Such a great experience from start to finish. The catamaran was clean, spacious and beautiful. Very kind, attentive staff from start to finish. We were at the end of whale watching season, so we were very excited when our captain found a whale. This whale put on a 30-minute spectacular show for us – once in a lifetime experience! They keep some distance from the whales as to not scare or bother them, which I really appreciated. We also saw some sea turtles and sea lions. Amazing experience for me and my 7 year-old son!
Rocio_R –
Very well organized and smooth ride with great explanations and very nice service and snacks. The staff took really good care of everyone and pointed out the whales to us

Boat was really nice and clean. Staff was great, nice drinks and snacks. Saw lots of whales! We also missed our pickup and they rescheduled us for another day. That was really nice!

This was our second tour with Cabo Adventures, I booked the first one directly on their website and the second one through Viator. We had great experiences with them both. Cabo Adventures is a solid, consistent, company and they know what they are doing. We were with Jose and his crew. They went above and beyond and he seemed genuinely excited about the whales. We were able to see quite a few whales and even a baby. No breaching but it was still incredible.

The catamaran is nice, but you are only on it for an hour and half, so not worth the money. And because it’s a bigger boat, it stays very far away from the whales. The little boats could go up closer, and we stayed back and as such did not have any good views of the whales with all the other boats in our view. The food was not good and overall the entire experience was underwhelming for the money.
We also requested a hotel pick up which they scheduled for an hour half before the boat (6:40 AM for an 8 AM start) and then we ended up sitting in a shuttle for an hour and then waiting at the take-off spot for a long time completely unnecessarily. I would have much rather slept that extra hour.

Very good tour & service on board. The migration period is between December & March. The best month they said is February.
The check-in is a little slow, should be online check -in.
There is no restriction on kids under 5 years old on this Viator Webpage & Cabo Adventure Webpage, nevertheless they said it was clear kids under that age could not go in this tour for security reason. Take taht in mind!
We could watch 3 different groups of whales. Awesome creatures!
Would do it again, but in a smaller boat to be able to get closer to them. That would be me advice for future travelers.

We went on this exact trip last February and we’re blown away with the amount of whales we saw. Yesterday we barely saw a tail in the distance. When the whales are disappointing they should have made it up with service. The food was great both times but last time the drink service was much better. Yesterday we were never offered a second drink we had to go in search of it. For the price you are taking a big chance.

Me and 3 of my friends went on the 8am whale watching trip for my birthday weekend in Cabo. It was a nice time. The weather was great, the team on the boat were great, and we saw several whales surface. It was very enjoyable. Would highly recommend!!

Cabo Adventures seems a well organised and pretty large organisation. A very short walk from our tender port and an easy check-in process.
The catamaran was clean and in good condition. The guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, almost immediately we had dolphins racing along the bow of the boat which was great to see. Multiple sea lions were in the bay area too, you’ll hear them before you see them!
We spotted multiple humpback whales throughout the trip, the catamaran kept a respectful distance from them while still close enough to see them breach etc.
Timings were exactly as advertised which was ideal as we were tight on time to reboard out cruise .
Thoroughly recommended.
