The tours depend on effectiveness and experience of the tour guide. Our tour guide was “Kid” yes thats his name. He was great, he went above and beyond to include everyone even who were traveling alone and helped everyone to get the great panoramic shots. Start and end of tour was on time.

The tour was amazing – finding the bus stop and kiosk was very easy and we departed only 5 minutes late. The price was very worth it, as it covers the bus trip, two trains up the mountain and the cable car on the way down and of course visiting all the parts of Jungfrau.
our tour guide Kid would make sure everyone got pictures at all the small stops before moving forward. I felt safe being on the tour, the bus ride was good, just be sure to sit on the right side on the way there for the best views.
The experience itself was very cool, it was snowing and a bit windy at the top but looked magical. Make sure to wear thick socks and gloves!

First, the positives:
– Instructions for where to meet and at what time were very clear.
– Maps/guides were provided to show us what there was to do at the top.
– We had reserved sections/cars on the the three train rides.
– The experience at the top is incredible and worth the effort. It’s nice to have someone arrange and manage it for you.
– They provided a few high quality photos from the top for free by airdropping them to my phone (can also be emailed).
The negatives:
– We only had 2 hours, 10 minutes at the top which is really stretching the word “approximately” when it advertises “approximately three hours”. That said, we didn’t necessarily need a full three hours up there. But having two and a half or so would have made things less hectic.
– Some people might really enjoy having Kid as their guide. He works hard and is enthusiastic. But he literally yells at you to move to certain spots for pictures. It’s not angry yelling, but it is aggressive. He was constantly having people jump on seats to take pictures leaning outside of the train window. I get that it’s a cool picture, but not sure that everyone needs to do it multiple times. It makes it hard to sit back and enjoy the ride.
He also yelled at a family on top of the mountain to move so our group could take pictures, which was embarrassing. It’s not as if our tour group has any more right to be up there.
He told us beforehand that the best way to avoid altitude sickness is to drink water and walk slowly then proceeds to power walk us through three of the activities. I suppose that technically we didn’t have to follow along for that since we knew where and when to meet later, but he was highly suggested that we follow him.
There was plenty of time on the bus ride for him to have explained some things that would have made the experience better. If he’d let us know that people who want great pictures should listen to him to make sure they don’t miss them and that others can just relax, that would have been nice. Similarly, he could have told us that if we wanted to hurry through some of the things at the top that we could follow him, but if we want to take our time, we were free to do that as well.
We also would have liked more information about the mountain and station. The focus was on getting pictures for everyone. That should certainly be part of it, but I felt like I missed out on other aspects.
Just to be clear, Kid is passionate about his job, and for some people, his style would mesh really well with what they’re looking for out of the experience. But if you want something guided that’s a bit laid-back, this isn’t it.

What an amazing experience! This is definitely a must do while in Switzerland. Our tour guide Kid took great care of us as well as our driver Armondo. We had sections of the trains just for our group with lots of photos opportunities on the way up. Everything about this tour was amazing from the views to the Ice Palace to the Top of Europe. The snow up top is slippery so bringing boots with good footing helps. Gloves and a jacket also helps. Even with the sun out, it got a bit chilly with the wind. I highly recommend this tour! 5 stars!

We have been on many tours around the world, and this will definitely be one of the most memorable. Spectacular scenery that just can’t be fully appreciated in photos. Having a beautiful snowfall the day before and perfectly clear blue skies on the day of our tour made it so amazing. And I would be remiss if did not say something about our Guide, Kid. We’ve never experienced a Guide who so thoroughly enjoyed his job and made sure everyone on the tour got the absolute most out of it. We definitely have some photos we never would have gotten without Kid’s knowledge of the area and help taking pictures. So glad we did this tour and so glad we had Kid as our Guide! Highly recommend!!!
