It was a long day!! But it was worth it. The scene were astonishing! The mountains in the winter are wonderful. My only recommendation is be prepared for a long day seated on the bus and on the train. Also, there is no food on the train and not much time to get food during the stops.

The trip was nice with some amazing views. You first get by bus to St Moritz, have some hours of free time and afterwards you take the train (not exactly the bernina express wagon, but the next ones that you can pull down the windows) way to Tirano. I give 4 stars because in the schedule it says explicitly that we were going to get some free time in Tirano and that was not the case. We arrived to the train station and immediately got inside the bus…

PROs:
1. Beautiful scenery
2. Alejandro the tour guide and the driver were very nice!
Cons:
1. Super crowded bus with very uncomfortable seats that my knees where hitting the seat in front all the time. My height is 6 Feet
2. Super crowded rest stop with more than five full buses of tourists stopped there! No time to eat and a huge toilet line. I understand you might get a % of sales here, but you need to have a alternative location for these type of occasions
3. Very little to visit St Moritz, by the time you get off the bus and walk to the center of town, you have run back to the station because it’s time for the train to leave. We could not even enjoy a coffee there.
4. Super uncomfortable 2nd class train seats! Thank God we were able to pay and extra 24 Francs and get an upgrade to first class.
5. A bit chaotic situation with the seats in the bus. Some Rude people took our seats in one of the stops. I think this can be avoided if the tour guide sets the ground rules for those with lack of common sense.
OVERALL: if you want to take A very long 12 hrs trip with many uncomfortable situations and mostly you are either in the bus or the train for a few good scenery views then take it! Otherwise please use your money towards something else!

Thanks for an amazing day. We really enjoyed it. Everything was worth going for. We enjoyed St Moritz, bought too much chocolate. One thing please make sure the departure location is correct. We only got dropped of at the right location because our taxi driver knew about it. The address on google was like opposite the street.!
