The Tour was an absolute ‘must do’ for those interested in the history, culture, architecture and have little time to spend in Pretoria.

Great tour if you have limited time. The guide was excellent and we got a lot of info about Pretoria. Well worth it.

Une visite incontournable dans l’une des capitales de l’Afrique du Sud, pour mieux comprendre son histoire.
Michiel_W –
Excellent tour! Solly was fun, easy going, very knowledgeable, patient and took us around town without any issues. An excellent day out!

The driver was friendly and helpful and doubled up as the guide.
However, info that was provided was extremely generic and was repetitive on 11 National languages in SA, etc.
Nothing much on SA history, Voortrekkers, why they did the journey, what was the outcome, conflict between Boers and British, etc.
First stop was Voortrekker monument, wherein there was limited info.
Even worse at Paul Kruger House, wherein we were left to walk around and read the info mentioned there. Again basic info was provided more about Krugers funeral at Church Square and not much else.
No explanation about Kruger and his impact on SA.
Lastly, it was public park from which one could see Parliament.
If this was the plan, we would have rather booked a driver with van for travel to Pretoria and bought tickets oneself at both the attractions and saved sizeable amount.

A good way to quickly get a Pretoria experience from staying in Johannesburg.
The half-day tour in the afternoon was perfect, after arriving from overseas in the morning.

The many sides to the story of the creation of the nation of South Africa . To deepen our understanding and pave the way for the r future we must bear witness to history through visiting museums, memorials , reading books and sharing conversations . Our visit to Pretoria gave us a unique opportunity to do this . Our guide was both knowledgeable and curious and we appreciated his sharing his expertise with us

I my tour guide was Thabang which I had him on another side trip in Johannesburg.
Friendly and informative about the sites.
I requested another stop in the way and he was ok with it.

Great afternoon spent in Pretoria, collected directly from hotel. Only myself and my friend on this trip so we were chauffeured around by our guide LIVE, lovely guy, friendly and very informative, really looked after us, would definately recommend to others 😀

Mark was a great guide, we enjoyed learning some of the history of the Pretoria and Johannesburg areas on a beautiful day.

We were picked up promptly at our Johannesburg hotel by David who was very nice, knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The van was very comfortable and we felt safe the entire tour! We visited all the sites mentioned in the tour’s description and David provided full insight at each site. The only thing that I would recommend to this tour operator is that they check the hours of operation of all the locations so that the guide can plan accordingly. We weren’t able to enter a couple of locations because they were closed by the time we got there. I still highly recommend this tour and especially our guide David since it was very convenient for what were looking (a half day tour) for and the service provided was excellent.
