Booking didn’t go ahead due to issue with cable car, so a day of our trip was totally wasted! We arrived at the bus station as required for 8am and were dropped back off after 2pm, 5 hours spent on couch and 1hr in Montreux. Tour operator should have cancelled that morning when they new there was an issue with the cable car rather than wasting everyone’s valuable time as we were only in Geneva for 2 nights.

The glacier was fantastic, the tour bus was comfortable, the driver was pleasant, but the whole day needs to be longer. Less than 2 hours at glacier 3000 and less than an hour at montreux. It was far too rushed. Extend the day by a couple of hours and it would be soo much better.

I am so happy we went on this excursion. I highly recommend! We were not able to go on the bridge and the restaurant was closed but it was still very scenic and the ride to get there was beautiful. You should take the ski lift to go to the bottom as that is a beautiful ride as well. Montreux was stunning and the Christmas market is going on so we were able to find lots of goodies.

Our tour guide David was amazing, and very funny. He gave us information about sites and historical facts and played Queen music during the ride!
Glacier 3000 was an incredible experience, the suspension bridge gave incredible views and the fun park was great. We were provided with lunch, and although the mountain coaster was closed due to snow cover we still got to experience the ski lift. In the photos most people are in jeans and trainers but I would recommend waterproof/fleece trousers and boots if possible because it really is cold up there, especially in the wind, although they have a restaurant for hot choc to warm up afterwards!
Montreux is an 1 hour stop afterwards, where there is a statue of Freddie Mercury! The day we went (friday), there was a market on the waterfront, bring cash because most don’t have card readers! David then very kindly dropped us at the train station which was super! Thank you so much David for the incredible day!

Great trip although be prepared for a long time on a coach. Our driver/rep (Roger) was brilliant and informative and knew how to tell a story. Could have done with a bit longer than just an hour in Montreau (think that is how it is spelt) but, all in all, worth booking.

The tour was great! Visibility was very limited, but no one can control the weather! The experience was still amazing and we could still see around and tell we were high in the mountains. Tom was great, really, just a great guy. He was considerate to temperatures on the bus, guest time tables, and talked to us a lot at lunch.

You get from 10:45-2:10 at Glacier 3000 to enjoy the peak walk, glacier walk, sky lift and alpine coaster (9chf is a must do). Great views to relax and enjoy some food.
You get around 1 hr in Montruex which is lovely town. Not much time to enjoy the town fully, however has a great Queen museum in casino.

The original tour was cancelled due to one of the cable cars being out of commission, so the company offered us a comparable tour for the same day and time. We were able to go up the train to see the glacier and cable cars to the top and the entire experience was incredible, the views were absolutely breathtaking! The guide was great, and it was a highlight of our trip.
