ONE OF THE BEST EXPERIENCES! We enjoyed the unique Open Jeep experience, which is a premium option as most groups are in enclosed vehicles. The jeep driver was super knowledgeable about the park and in tune with the key locations. We saw giraffes, zebras, hippos, rhinos, a cheetah, and tons of elephants! Thank you for a great experience. See you next time, Sully!

This was the highlight of our trip to Johannesburg. Phillipians4four is a professionally managed tour company with excellent customer service provided by its owner Mr. Solly.
We were very lucky to have Mr. Solly the owner of the company pick us up and drive us to the Pilanesberg National park . He is a very kind and helpful and a friendly person. His Safari Tour Partner Kgabo Safaris conducted the safari in a very informative and professional manner. The Safari Ranger of Kgabo Safaris Mr. Benny was very friendly and full of information and very eager to do full justice to both the safaris, one pre lunch and another post lunch. The restaurant in the park that served lunch (included in the tour) was very clean, hygienic and provided excellent service with very tasty and filling food with both vegetarian and non vegetarian options. The restaurant is at picturesque location by a waterhole and we got to see zebras, kudus, Impalas, giraffe and birds at the waterhole as we enjoyed the lunch.
The safari was very rewarding as we got to see the elusive cheetah and her two cubs from very close proximity and many other animals like the elephants, hippos, rhinos, giraffes, wilderbeest, warthog, kudus, Impalas, spring bok and some rare birds,
The vehicle of the open jeep safari was huge and in the best of condition, with comfortable seating and clear viewing for all and charging point for mobiles.
Excellent and a memorable trip that made us so happy. We recommend Phillipians4four Tour operators strongly. Thank you so much Mr. Solly

On time pick up, and well oiled operation. Saw all but the buffalo. A young leopard walked with us for a 100m down the road. Herd of elephants joined and one gave a false charge to within 3 feet. A cross between exciting and nerve racking. Driver was very good explaining the charge was unusual. Great day out and the sore rear end was worth it.

Great trip, breathtaking sights and 4/5 from the big 5. We only missed lions but we had a great experience with elephants! Also hats off for our guide Benny, amazing knowledge and he knew where to drive us!

We didn’t see the Big 5 but they’re animals and they don’t clock in on queue. What I did see was an epic elephant March that even our driver was stunned by. It was something out of the movies. We saw impalas, zebras, rhinos, hippos and wildebeest and giraffes. Lunch was decent enough… had a great time.

One of the most exciting and glorious experience I have encountered. Really thankful for seeing God’s creations in live view. Great hospitality; would definitely do this again.

Man o man…. Our tour guide was a zoologist I’m sure of it. He was funny, elaborate, knowledge and we couldn’t have asked for more. This was truly an amazing tour

Loved it and our guide Nathi was so sweet! He explained to us alot of things along the road, asked questions to us and was very helpfull! On the actual safari we also had a really good guide, Neco, taking us around and we saw alot of animals.

Nati picked me up right on time. Very smooth drive to the safari park He was very nice and explained things on the way. At the park met Niki our safari guide. Joined another 5 people in safari truck. Niki was great very good english, knowledge, funny stories, saw elephants, rhinos, hippos, antelopes, baboons, zebras and giraffes etc No cats but Niki tried very hard and we saw lots of other animals from very close up. Lunch was fine. Journey home with Nati very good too. Well worth it

Really great experience. My guide, Nathi, was the best. Got to see a leopard kill a impala not long after we first entered the park. Also seen rhinos, hippos, crocodile, boars, impalas, kudus, other various small animals and close encounters of giraffes and elephants walking on the roads. Did not get to see lions. Trip is recommended.

Great one day safari tour which persuaded me to go for longer one in the future. During one day safari we saw 2 out of “Big 5” – we saw elephants, rhinos and leopard (or really gepard – cheetah). We saw also lions in the far and buffalos hided from us. As Pilanesberg is 2.5 hours from Johannesburg we drove by shuttle bus with Lorenz (driver / guide) to the park. Lorenz is good driver and told us some interesting facts about Johannesburg. But the best part was 6 hours safari in Pilanesberg National Park with driver / ranger Tumi. He was very experienced and therefore he was not afraid to go close to animals and we also learned from him about animals e.g. 1) Rhinos are white and black, white rhinos are larger and have different horns. They also differ by fact how they lead babies (white rhinos in front, black rhinos in back) 2) Elephants – female are in larger herd with babies, male are individuals 3) Impalas – there is one dominant male with about 40 females and the rest of the males are in smaller herd hoping to replace dominant male. It was wonderful experience to see especially elephants from about 2 meters distance. Unforgettable!

This was an awesome experience! Our tour guide, Nahti, was excellent! And our safari driver was so good at picking out all of the animals – it was so impressive! Overall we had a great day, and saw 3 of the big 5!

We were picked up by Nathi from our hotel and straightaway were made to feel comfortable for the long trip ahead. He was so friendly and even gave us lots of information and history about the surrounding areas we were driving through. We were then dropped off and headed into the jeep to meet Shumba. Shumba was very knowledgeable and funny and did his best to try and get us to see the big 5! We were lucky enough to see 3/5. Shumba was able to tell us a lot of information about all the animals and the funny facts too! It really was a great day and I would definitely recommend booking this tour.
