Loved the tour of the Granville Island Public Market. My husband and I were the only people on the tour that day making it especially nice to ask questions along the way. Our guide, Rohan, is a very knowledgeable chef and knew the market very well. His love and enthusiasm for food are very evident. We enjoyed the tastings and having someone share so much information about the market and the island.
Thank you Rohan and Bob for a wonderful experience!

I’ve never had a food tour with so much food! Bob was an excellent tour guide, very personable and quite knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour.
Scarlett_S –
Bob was great. Very good knowledge of Vancouver. Really enjoyed the tour and recommend it to others!
Estie_L –
The bourbon tasting at the end of the tour was the most memorable and fun. Our guide was not great. He seemed to be pushing us to take another tour with him and to visit his family’s restaurants. We didn’t learn much from him.
William_S –
This was a fantastic tour and a perfect way for us to kick off our first time visiting Vancouver. The food was great and Bob was an amazing guide. We sampled things like meats & cheeses, seafood, desserts and more all while walking through this lively market while sipping a delicious chai latte. Bob truly has a passion for the area as well as food and that passion is put on display throughout his tour. I would definitely recommend this tour.

A very knowledgeable guide with extensive food and cooking experience. A really fun afternoon activity. If you want to spend more time in the market, come before the tour. The market closes at 6:00pm and the tour ends close to market closing.
Sally_C –

Joan_N –
Bob was great! He made it easy to taste the foods. Lots of variety! We returned and ma some purchase of our favorites!
Cathymberes –
The food tastings were nearly all sweets: jams, sweet chai tea, candied salmon, macron, nainamo bar, chocolate, glazed donut. We did enjoy the charcuterie and bread.
The two hour tour finishes when the market closes….why not start earlier?

Bob is a wonderful guide! Personable, charismatic, very knowledgeable! We were in Granville Island twice this week before we took his tour and everything he shared with us was new information! A must do experience!

The market was bustling with people pouring over ripe produce and delectable desserts and mainstays. If that was not enough our guide was fabulous. He, Bob, made the time special. Definitely go. It is more than worth the time and money expended.
Meril_A –

We had an amazing time with Bob as our tour guide. He knew so much about he history of the area and his love of food is palpable. We enjoyed a variety of food and were able to taste everything from bread and preserves to pickles and candied salmon. We we’re definitely full afterwards. My husband, daughter and I, absolutely loved the food tour with Bob and would highly recommend it. It gives a great overview of Granville Island even for those of us who have been there multiple times.
Bob was punctual, meeting spot was easy to find, we were able to buy food along the way, lots of opportunities to go to washroom.

What a wonderful tour! Bob was entertaining and informative. We learned a lot about the various food booths and fruits in the market. We tasted great breads, jellies, chai tea, pickles, charcuterie, soup, chocolate and more. We had so many samples that we didn’t need dinner after. I ghighly recommend this tour.
