Well, where do I start. How about the convoluted instructions on how to find this tour! Kabatas area, behind the gas station.. What?! Anyway, 8 taxi ride, to the Kabatas docks which are now closed for construction and no boats leave rom there! When finally found a ticket office, it was for the Hop On-Hop Off boat, that claimed they didn’t know anything about my certificate, and their last boat had already left. Since it was getting late, and as a 60 year old woman traveling alone, and leaving the next morning, I decided to drown my frustration back at my hotel, and call this ‘tour’ a bust! 8 taxi ride back.

Very disappointing. No information for foreigners on how to get a ticket. Could have ended up anywhere if we got on wrong boat…nearly did. People in ticket box not helpful. Lucky for passing girl who spoke english.

Very nice and affordable cruise. You get the feel of the city of Istanbul from the Bospherous River. Many people commented that location was hard to find, however, it can’t get any simpler. the ferry is right behind the service station 50 m walk from is Kabatas tam station.

Excellent experience! I was very worried about ambiguous directions provided but it was actually very easy to find. If you take the tram to last station of Kabatas and walk towards the gas station, you will see a ticket kiosk redeeming the voucher. The boat was a bit dirty, but spacious, has a bathroom and offers some refreshments and snacks. Second floor is an open space, so you could sit, walk around, take pictures, etc. The tour lasts 1 hour and 45 minutes. There is no guide on this boat, but there is a pre-recording played in Turkish and English that announces major sites the boat is passing. It takes you through almost entire Bosphorus, so you can see glimpses of Marmara Sea on one end and Black Sea on the other. I only wish it came closer to the Maiden Tower Kiz Kulesi but it is still seen in the distance.

This very same tour costs 15 Turkish Lira about 2-3 if you buy it directly from the harbour office. Even the people in charge of the boat wondered how we could pay that much on Viator. So do not buy it online. Go to any harbour in Instanbul and you will find a nice cruise But not on Sundays! Its very crowded on Sundays.
The tour is nice and worth it. Stay on the upper level and on the left side of the boat.
You should know that they will try to trick you into buying tea, orange juice or snacks, which appeareantly are free, and then charge you really overpriced sumes of money. So its better to not buy any drinks on the deck.
How to find the ticket office: It you type in google maps anything from the voucher, it will get very confusing. Best option: take the tram to Kabatas station the tram line is also called Kabatas and when you get off, go in the direction of the water youll see it, more exactly on the side on which you get off. You will also see that Gas Station they mention. Its the only gas station in Kabatas, so you can ask the locals.
Also, at some point of the cruise you will hear from the speakers something like Thank you for letting us entertain you and have a great evening. This is not the end! Hearing that message, all passengers got off the boat it has many stops, but there was more of the trip. So do not get off if you havent seen all the objectives written in the cruise description here, in Viator.
Conclusion: Its worth it, but only if you buy it directly from the harbour.

We boarded with nobody telling us what to do, where to go ………. we found seats and sat down. A couple of minutes later a guy brought coffee snd toasted sandwiches plonked it down. And this carried on for the whole trip – at the end he came and collected money – we did not ask for snacks snd thought it was part of the tour package – we also got no information as to where we were going – what we were seeing ……… not worth the money and not a normal viator experience

I missed the time I had booked my trip and the organiser was very kind to allow me on the later cruise. The boat was not too full and comfortable. I was asked to download an audio guide to listen whilst on the cruise, however this didn’t work. Not sure why but my suggestion would be to j Claude this information in the instructions when e-tickets are issued as well as the location to meet up. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my evening taking home some price pictures and I would recommend the 7pm trip to be sure to see everything at sunset. Thank you,

The experience was breathtaking. We booked the sunset cruise online even though we could have done it also dirrectly on the ticket booth. The booth is right after the gas station and you can recognize it because it is operated by Istanbul Welcome Card company and the guys are wearing red shirts.
We jumped on a really nice yacht and the experience started.
For about 2 hours we cruised through the bosphorus and we got a lot of great information from our tour guide (really nice guy – Haluk). During the cruise we had a lot of fruits, drinks, pastries free of charge.
Would definitely recommend this tour for a great experience!

They first changed the time 30 min earlier, I was running 5 min late, due to heavy traffic, I messaged and asked them to wait . They didn’t wait, so I paid for another trip in cash, they insisted they would give me a refund and now they don’t want to, even though I paid for another trip! STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM!
