I had never considered what ‘occupation’ actually meant but Jan brought this home. Families torn apart, young children taken from their mothers and sent to live with strangers, five years of oppression and near starvation. It is hard not to be moved. Jan was able to share with us the experiences of her own family which really brought this home. Extremely enlightening, I definitely recommend this tour to all thinking people. Thank you Jan.

I’m basing my review on the customer service by the tour operator. Our cruise was diverted because of weather and we never did get to the isle of Guernsey, a huge disappointment for our group.
The tour operator kindly refunded the price of the tour and that was very much appreciated!
