We had an afternoon free up and we were looking for something to do. We decided to book this tour at the last minute and it was a great decision. We did sand bashing, sand boarding and topped it off with a dinner in the desert where we saw 3 different shows. The flame thrower was my favorite. Our driver, Sohiel, picked and dropped us off and killed the sand bashing. Would definitely do this again.

Before I go any further, I would like to express that the car ride on the dunes along with sand boarding was a great experience and it was a lot of fun.
Unfortunately our tour got off to a bad start as our driver turned up 45 minutes earlier than he was supposed to. We are told he had tried to contact us that day but they can’t expect us to pick up the message and change our plans as we were out doing other things. I found this rather chaotic and it did not put us in the best mood. The driver was unapologetic and blamed us for the mishap for not checking our messages.
When the car tyre pressures are being altered for driving on the dunes, you are taken to a strange place where you are practically forced by the workers into their shops where they try to convince you to buy head scarves, snacks, and more. This happened 3 times, which was really not great.
A similar thing happened throughout the night. There was the camel ride – but there were people haggling with you to pay money for another camel ride with no queue. There were people coming round while you were seated trying to sell you bottled sand art, corn on the cob and drinks which were not included in the trip fee.
To top this off, the other people in the car with us wanted to leave at about 6:30pm before we had even eaten. Our driver spent most of the night trying to talk us into leaving early to please the others, which was ridiculous as we had paid the money to eat and watch the shows which we had not done yet.
By the end of the night, we had had enough and had a very unnerving drive home with crazy driving which made us feel very unsafe. We almost had a collision with another tour vehicle who actually pulled us over to tell the driver he was putting us in danger. This only angered him more so we had a rant and road rage to complete the evening.
Regrettably I would not recommend.

Our tour guide was amazing! He had the best rig for dune bashing and made it so fun. He was super knowledgeable and shared so much info with us. He let us know what our options were but didn’t push any of the extras 😀. We paid for the additional quad ride in the big desert when we got there. It was soooooooo worth it. The dinner was great. Curry, BBQ and the most delicious rice. The shows were very entertaining, the fire show was the best. Lots of goodies to buy while you are there and along the way.

The acitivities where pretty fun.
The quad bikes where very bad, they didnt work as they should. Also when we are booking give us the information about the camel rides, because when we booked we expected a long camel ride alone, not 3 camels detected to each other and ride for 10 meters.
And the food was garbage, that’s not even BBQ food, food was also ice-cold.
5 stars to our guide tho, he was amazing! Always with us taking pictures explaining etc.

Fantastic experience! Naveed our driver could handle the dunes with just the right amount of thrill. Just be weary of additional costs. My only gripe is the first stop… small quad bikes were included, but the area to ride them was confined… to really experience a quad on the dunes we paid an extra 600 AED! And photos were taken at the most opportune times which cost another 50-80 AED each.

Too commercialised, too many people trying to (up)sell and the dune bashing was crazy dangerous. Our driver/guide was very nice and for sure very experienced but I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who values their life. We were very scared. Dinner/show was ok, nothing special although the fire performance was great. The best part of this tour was spending time in the desert outside of the car just taking in the scenery and sunset.
