The flight and Cable car was fantastic. Too long in kurunda. Stuck in a rail carriage full of noisy primary school kids, so very noisy 2 hour trip down. Not your fault. Otherwise very good day out. Would had been nice to have optional gold class return on the train.

Our day started off with the Reef flight, which was absolutely spectacular on a perfect clear day. The views from the plane were very clear and beautiful. After the flight, our next part of the trip was the skyline which was overall decent. The views from the skyline were mainly just a brief view of the city and a lot of rainforest bush land. There were also 2 other stops before Kuranda which had short trails and lookouts. The last part of the trip was the Kuranda rail, which was a bit disappointing. The background of the rail was interesting, however, the experience was not very enjoyable as the train was very old and packed with tourists. The views from the train were also very brief and minimal, with the majority of the journey being next to trees or in tunnels. There was one stop next to the Barron Falls which was nice, but the entire trip was not worth it at all. Overall, the flight was the best part of the trip and would definitely recommend doing.

The flight was amazing, one of the best experiences of my life. Wasn’t a huge fan of the Kuranda portion, but this isn’t a reflection on the company. Giving them 5 stars. Flight deserves 11 stars. Kuranda, 3/5. The train back was on a hot and humid day, with no AC for 2 hours, so it can get uncomfortable. This package makes the Kuranda journey both ways cheaper, but I’d go without it and just do the flight and use the savings for something else.
