My dad and I enjoyed the cruise and listening to some history. Crew were great and the snacks were also great! Unfortunate about the weather but an easy cruise and nice lunch! Definitely something to do in Brisbane

Even though pouring rain, was a good activity. I didn’t realise the lunch was 2 hours. Travelling on my own I didn’t need to do that but the food was very good.

Lunch at Breakfast Creek Hotel is the best part of the cruise, However the walk from the jetty to the Hotel was a little confusing, I also escorted a couple in there late 70’s that also found the trek a struggle and was not aware of distance of the walk. Stating to wear comfortable walking shoes is not very descriptive.
Due to the weather conditions on the day, wind & water made the audio presentation near impossible to hear if sitting at the bow or upstairs, I did mention this to the captain however he seemed to be at a loss on how to rectify this.

It was a lovely way to finish our Brisbane trip. A different view of the city via a river view. We wound down whilst on the river, especially when we went to lunch! The Hotel had history and was large yet personal. We had a lovely large fresh lunch and a beer, then wandered back for the return journey via boat. The staff were wonderful, fun and very efficient in serving the morning tea, and should your appetite be large for Scones, jam and cream there was ample for everyone. The commentary was good and gave us information that was unknown to us, so it was very informative. It was a great way to wind down after a few days, relax and then return home in a relaxed mood. Thanks!!

The commentary was good and scones and tea were lovely. The cruise itself was just a little up and down the river in a very old boat and stopped at another place on the river. The 450mwalk was a little too much, with added stairs as well. The meal was lovely at The Breakfast Hotel. We chose not to go back on the boat but went elsewhere.

They even sold $5.00 hats fro those who were unprepared for the short walk to the hotel and back to shade after the cruise.
