Fantastic day! The weather was even amazing! The Rock of Cashel was breathtaking and loved exploring Blarney Castle. Our tour guide, JJ was a wealth of knowledge. This is a “must-do” tour while in Ireland!

Jackie was our tour guide and he did an excellent job, we got lots of stories and information on our drive out and were free to roam at our stops at our own pace. The bus was clean and comfortable and the drive was pleasant.

Pickup – There was too much confusion on the pick up location. The operator manages two locations which are fairly close to each other. This was easy enough to fix because the departure time accommodated those arriving a few minutes late. Look for the big green Paddy Wagon bus–they are easy to spot.
Journey – You will spend plenty of time on the bus because of the distance. USB charging ports on the bus work just fine, but you might need a longer cord. The ports are above your seat. Its your basic large tour bus with slightly reclining seats. There is minimal space onboard for luggage, but a handbag is probably just fine. The driver is your guide, and he will offer plenty of humorous commentary on the way to various stops.
You will honestly feel rushed at Blarney Castle because the grounds offer a lot to see. The line to kiss the stone was long and winding, but went fairly quick. The Rock of Cashel requires some uphill walking. Not a big deal for most, but if you have mobility issues, this spot could be challenging for a few. There is no real structured tour in Cork–come prepared with some ideas for things to do. Otherwise, you will spend most that time just dining and shopping in downtown.

The majority of this tour was wonderful. It does make for a long day. A lot of driving so be aware of that. The only thing I have to say is that our tour was on a Sunday. When we arrived at Cork, there was no place to eat. The English Market was closed. The kitchens in most places closed at 3 and didn’t reopen until dinner time. You only had a little over an hour. This would have been nice to know as we would have eaten at Blarney. There wasn’t much to see in Cork. So I would have like to see cork city part eliminated from the tour and had more time at Blarney castle as two hours was not enough time to explore the grounds. JJ was our driver and your guide. He was very knowledgeable and funny but could be a bit much at times.

We had a fantastic time. The bus was smaller and it seemed to work better. The driver/ tour guide was great. He is a true Irish persona Ty and a lot of wonderful knowledge. He was accommodating and we had a great time. Gave us some great tips as well, However the meeting point for the tour was a little confusing. This needs to improve.
Overall, a great tour.

Comfortable bus trip. Very much enjoyed the Blarney castle and the gardens, I only wish we had more time to explore those grounds. A great way to see Cashel and Cork city as well in just one day.
Hailey_L –
I had the best time! The bus was clean and comfortable. We made plenty of stops and the driver was knowledgeable about many aspects of Ireland and it’s history.

Not only did the bus never show up but when I tried to get a hold of the company by calling they hung up on me, by email, and the viator app they just didn’t respond. Do not go if paddywagon tours is your operator because they won’t even bother to show up!

Great time! Richard our diver was great and really made it a fun trip. Blarney castle was by far the best castle we’ve seen. Cork was great shopping but just not a lot of time there. I only wish we could’ve spent less time at Blarney and more time in Cork.

JayJay our tour guide was phenomenal! The entire day ran smoothly. We were able to see so much and experience so much in a smaller group. It was a great trip and I would recommend it for anyone looking to travel Ireland while in Dublin!!

Our tour guide Danny was great, he entertained us with some great stories and also had a good sense of humor as well. Blarney Castle grounds were beautiful and the shopping in Blarney did not disappoint.
CameronLowe –
Alex, the tour guide, was great. Unfortunately Rock of Cashel had closed for the day and the stop in Cork didn’t feel long enough. Overall, still a good day trip.
Tiffany_F –
The bus driver was amazing and did such a great job on being informative and telling us history about Irland that was super cool. Things got canceled in the tour because of weather which is understandable but I didn’t like that we didn’t have a lot of time in cork everything felt very rushed and not as enjoyable as you would think it would be. We didn’t have enough time to eat in cork barely enough time to see the cathedral.
Denisse_A –
This trip was amazing! The views were incredibly beautiful , and our bus driver (Richard) was very charismatic. He had us laughing the entire ride. I would 100% recommend anyone traveling to Ireland to include this in their itinerary.
KimecheC –
The grounds of the Blarney Castle were beautiful! It was worth drive. We only had 1hr in Cork. If you really want to explore, choose a different tour or go on your own. Our guide, Frank, was annoying. He talks way to much and wasn’t a good story teller.
Sandra_H –
Loved seeing the Blarney Castle and Rock of Cashel
Good restaurant for lunch and good timing
Liked the gift shops and rest stops
Only problem was we were dropped off a different place from pick up and spent 20 minutes at night wandering in a foreign city until we found our car
