We travel a great deal all over the world. John, our tour guide, is definitely well-informed, provides excellent information and is extremely hospitable. He has decades of experience in the tourism industry and provides outstanding service. We met John on one end of Nadi Town and walked up the street to the Sri Siva Subramaniya Temple. Along the way, John shared stories about Fiji and Nadi town. We had been to Nadi Town several times on our own as we were in Fiji for two weeks. We did John’s tour at the end of our vacation instead of the beginning. I highly recommend booking with John to take the tour the day you arrive.

John was an informative and welcoming guide. We mostly explored the produce and handicraft markets, but also the town in general and Hindu Temple of Sri Siva Subramaniya. He explained at the start that it would be an ‘Intro to Nadi’ tour and that the food tour is on Saturdays (I attended on a Thursday). That was disappointing, as I’d prepared for a food tour, but the Viator app description didn’t mention this. With that in mind, try to book on a Saturday to make sure you can sample the food market and Temple food too. Otherwise, it was an enjoyable afternoon.
