Great tour of the “must see” places of Ayutthaya. Also great with children : the travel to the first temple is not too long, the time to spend at each stop is ideal and there are plenty of places to sit in the shadow for them to rest a while.

It’s very well organized and in due times.
The driver and the guide (Uncle Sam) are very kind and the experience is very pleasant with such a small group. We learn interesting things and I really enjoyed my day! Not to mention the lunch which has been perfect with a local dish.

This tour rounded out the temple tours in Bangkok. The guide was very good and explained everything well. My only complaint is I paid for hotel transport to/from. We were all dropped off at MBK and I had to take a train back to my hotel.

Very nice tour for whoever wants to spend an half day there. The pick up it’s a little bit chaotic (quite expected, we are not in Switzerland 😉) but it works. Our guide (uncle Sam, ask for him) was very funny. We came back at 2pm and it is perfect for who wants to use the afternoon to visit other sites in town. It covers the main attractions.

Our trip started out with a bit of confusion but once we were on the road with Kiwi and San, it turned into a wonderful day. Kiwi always answered any question with a smile and she was well-informed not just about Ayutthaya, but on all sorts of interesting traditions of the Thai people. The lunch was very authentic and a welcome respite from the hot sun.

Tour started early, left at 7.30am from riverside & dropped off at MBK at 2.30

The trip start eraly and we traveled with the bus, one hour, and we stoped to all the temples in Ayutthaya to visit and take photos. The lunch was not great, but was traditional thai food. Our guide tour Tum was very nice.

The tour guide and transportation were good and informative. Henry is very knowledgeable and kind. The lunch, we went to a nearby place from the last temple and you get a choice of pad Thai or fried rice. The food was ok, but I got food poisoning from it so that wasn’t ideal. I felt it a few hours after lunch and this is the only off the beaten path place I ate at (I only ate at nearby restaurants at sukhumbit otherwise). In summary, tour is great, don’t eat the lunch.

I highly recommend this tour if you want to learn more about Thailands history.
Our guide Henry was so knowledgeable he explained the history of Ayutthaya in great detail and then gave us plenty of time to walk around the 4 different sites and explore on our own.
Lunch at the road side restaurant was delicious.
Even though it was an early start (hotel pick up 6.30am) we were dropped back in the centre of Bangkok at MBK centre by 2.30pm.

Uncle Sam was awesome. We are a group of 20 so we technically had a private tour for us. We had some people who were flying out that night and he was very accurate with all the timing. We were all able to do the costume and visit all the sites and even able to feed the elephants. Highly recommended
