It has been a true joy and great pleasure to have RAMZY as our guide on this cruise. He is passionate about his work, and very dedicated to his clients. His knowledge of Egyptian history is outstanding, factual, and conveyed in a highly professional storytelling mode. Ask him any question, he will provide the answer, plus good tips about travel, places to go (or not), food, and leisure. On this not-so-modern ship, with its vintage room decoration, the food was Very Good. Crew and staff always helpful and kind, first class service. In sum: Highly recommended.

It was generally nice having a unique experience sailing on Nile river and eating and sleeping on the cruise. However, even though they have an alternative plan for the customer, it should have been met with customers’ needs and wants. I was transferred the cruise that is operated by French friendly crews after the travel agent contacted my Egyptian friend. I do not speak French neither Arabic. I had to travel myself because my friend had to work for weekdays. They promised offering the guided tour for some historic places but it was in French. I was disappointed but tried my best to enjoy the time. The crews were nice and facility was satisfying though.

This is really a must do when you cross Egypt. The feeling of sailing through 5000 years oh history is a unique feeling that can’t be describe. Boat and cabin were very nice so I enjoyed every moment, it was very peaceful !

Cruising the Nile is fantastic, tours were interesting on the way. This ship had 95% local tourists, so not super easy to connect. Food was surprisingly good, the staff was absolutely lovely. It clearly is not 5 stars as the boat is a little run down but loved the experience and would recommend

We really loved the cruise – stunning views, nice little pool & lounge area at the top and really nice buffet food & service. Booking through Viator we were a minority, with most people on larger organised tour groups. This meant the exits for the temple visits were really hectic and we were always last, some of our guides did not speak good English at all and we completely had to skip Kom Ombo as 12 cruise ships arrived there at the same time causing absolute chaos (almost one hour queue for tickets when it was already getting dark).
Abu Simbel was a real highlight though and not too busy when we arrived! The organisers were good at replying on WhatsApp when we had questions but there was definitely a real lack of clarity over the itinerary and timings, and lots of delays. We only found out from speaking to other passengers that we had to leave at 4am for Abu Simbel, this had not been communicated to us prior to us asking at 8pm the night before!
Some negatives on the boat – if your room is at the back the room shakes with the engine and is very loud (like it was for us). You also have to pay for WiFi and it doesn’t work well.
Overall would absolutely recommend but just bear the other points in mind!
