The Nile was amazing. It was wonderful to see the sights from the top of the ship. We enjoyed the tours also. Having a private trained Egyptologist made the trip easier and much more meaningful. Our guide Khalid was very helpful and informative. This is the only country we have visited where we felt the need to have a private guide. We would not have seen as many interesting places and arranging transportation would have been difficult on our own. We felt it was worth the extra. The one thing the cruise should improve is the food.

Our guide during the cruise esa kheled elhowerw, he was excelent and has a very good knowledge of egyptian history. Sito very good disposition and entusiasm. Al the attention in the cruise for all the people was very good and also the food. For our experience egypt is a safe country.

I was so impressed with this entire trip. We booked this tour online a few days before we left for our Egypt trip, and I was sort of wary because the price seemed too good to be true. However, my husband and I had the most wonderful time. We opted for the private tour option, and it was definitely worth it. Firstly, we had a private car drive us everywhere. There was no waiting they shuttled us around from each temple and site whenever we were ready to leave. We also had the most wonderful private tour guide named Ashram Sayed. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, personable, and took the most wonderful pictures of us at every landmark. He even acted as a liaison to book us extra excursions, such as a hot air balloon ride and a day trip to other temples not included in the trip.
The cruise itself was also wonderful. Our stateroom was clean, well air-conditioned, and spacious. We also came back to different towel animals on our bed everyday. Additionally, the food was even better than I expected. As a picky eater, I was worried I wouldn’t like the food, but there were about 10 choices at every meal, served buffet style, and it was wonderful!
This trip was fantastic and made our trip to Egypt!

This trip was wonderful! Our flight arrived early 6.30 in the morning and the personal guide was there waiting for us. His name is Mohamad and we became very good friends. He knows a lot and he is a funny guy with a personality of patient, considerate, and easy-going. We learned a lot from him. We could hardly go to that many places without him. The best thing on this trip is to meet him. It was really a good choice to make this reservation. And for the cruise, our window was big and the whole cruise is sunny, looked new and clean. Every crew on the cruise was very friendly, and smiles to each other every time we meet, made us feel very welcomed. Food was well planned, better than I thought, and prices resonable. I forgot to take my toothbrush and they managed to brought me one, which was very helpful. There was an interesting show the first night, and a party the second night. This was my first time to travel on a cruise and the experience was satisfied and I will recommend it to my friends who want to travel to Nile later.

Overall a great experience! Georgina, the local tour operator at Reflections Travel was outstanding. Super responsive to emails at all hours and our private guide was great as well. If only the boat would improve the quality of the food especially at lunch and dinner. I would also say the boat should have more on board day activities during sailing times. Otherwise, I highly recommend!!!
