My overall experience wad very good. The boat was comfortable (named the Blue Shadow) and the standard for Egypt was pretty good. All the meals were included (buffet) and the quality was beyond my expectation. The drinks were not included and a little bit expensive but it’s fair. When I booked this cruise many pickup point were proposed and since I was in Hurghada I have chosen the only pickup point in Hurghada. Here I was a little bit disappointed as it was not mentionned that the transfer were not included in the price. We paid 45$ each for the transfer, but it was in a decent car with a private driver with good AC which took 4 hours. Once arrived in Luxor we met our guide Michael, he’s the best ! All the questions you have regarding Egypt he have an answer and he’s a very helpful person. It’s a shame that he couldn’t came with us in the cruise for the whole journey as the other guides were not as good as him. Especially the local guide we had in Abu Simbel, sorry for the word but he was useless. Regarding Abu Simbel I would suggest you to skip this temple, it’s a 7 hours journey with a wake up at 3:30 am and you only stay 1 hour. It doesn’t worth 7 hours journey if you already did temples in Egypt. The best experience was the Air Balloon in Luxor, that was memorable and definitely worth to wake up at 3am to see the sunrise from the sky. So thanks Mody Tour for organizing this I had a great experience. If I may, here some feedback from my end: A better communication on the pickup point and the exact timetable would be appreciated, as I wrote to ask the checkout time the last day to book my flight and was informed that will be around 5pm (which is true if you do the whole program). I didn’t want to miss my flight so I booked an evening flight but the checkout from the boat was at 12pm and we couldn’t did the last temple in the afternoon due to health issue; thanks to Michael we succeed to stay a bit longer in our room until 3pm but still if we had the information that the boat will be in Aswan the night before the checkout we would took an earlier flight. I think it would be good to let the customer decide on the last day if they want to do the temples in Aswan/Abu Simbel or just chill the last day and leave earlier.

Great overall, comfy clean rooms, solid guide, great way to see everything! Would recommend and was as advertised.
Knock a star because it is hard to avoid the horse and carriages a d horses were malnourished, and clearly poorly treated one working with an open sore. Also they don’t have a lot of fresh fruit, juice was sugar water, nickel and dime you charging for drinking water with meals, and vegetarian protein was hard to find (left with pasta, rice, potatoes, etc).

My girlfriend and I were looking for a safe, easy and relaxing way to get around Egypt, see all the temples and experience the different egyptian culture. This is exactly what we got out of this experience from different ways to transport us (motor boat, horse and carriage, air conditioned bus) to seeing multiple temples in a day.

Everything was beyond our expectations, the quality of all you get for the price is a really good opportunity for traveling and visit Egypt, We thank all our guides and the staff that made this experience unforgettable

We booked for 4 nights and 5 days the Nile Cruise with Jaz Crown Jubilee ship, the trip was amazing, the staff was professional, helpful and respectful, the room, the swimming pool, the ship was clean and the food was great with lots of variety!
Also, we want to offer the best review for our guide, Talaat Abdo, he was amazing, he offered us a lot of information, he was very respectful, funny and helpful.
The entire experience was exactly what we expected and we would recommend this trip to everyone 🙂

Good experience all around, everything went off as planned, & our guide (Mahmoud) was flexible in adjusting our itinerary to accommodate different departure schedules within our group.

Three of us sailed on the Radamis II out of Luxor. The boat was wonderful and very comfortable. The food was good. Our guide, Mahmood was very helpful and went out of his way to make the trip memorable. He guided us through large crowds at temples and tombs and kept us from making tourist mistakes. He went out of his way to help us with airline transfers . We felt we were in good hands at all times

We had an amazing journey from Luxor to Aswan. The temples and sights we saw were incredible with a special mention to the hot air balloon in Luxor and Abu Simbel at the end. Our guides were all knowledgable and personable, shout out to Abdu for his tour of the valley of the kings. Transportation and food were all brilliant and the whole experience was very convenient. Would highly recommend!

  9. Elma_K

We tried the first time a cruise, and even though we were a bit skeptical prior to the trip as we are normally individual travelers, we were quite positively surprised.
The boat is nice and the food was really good. With our guide, Mahmoud, we visited many historical places in a small group and got many insights to the tempels and the Egyptian culture.

Hot air balloon was amazing. Visiting various temples was awesome. Mohmood the Egyptologist was very informative and experienced. His very helpful and friendly. All staff on board were very helpful. The cabin caretakers, Mohammed and Honey were always at your service. Food was delicious and Azar was helpful. Had an wonderful time … thank you to all the staff

Small grubby room on aging vessel, good staff, terrible vegetarian options, noisy generators at night, uncontrollable AC. Pay for water! Pay for a coffee after dinner!

  12. Kornelia_L

Absolutely loved this holiday, the daily excursions, the boat crew and especially our wing man Mahmoud.
    Food was fabulous also.
My honest opinion! this whole trip was amazing value.
Top tip! Get some small denomination American currency and be prepared to hand it out.

It was overall a great trip with a great tour guide Bishoy. As for critique, it could be helpful to have a list of recommended hotels in Luxor prior to the departure to avoid last-minute anxiety with pick-up. The expectation that all travelers will have an access to WhatsApp or internet and will be checking their messages is false. Also, I’m not sure I understand the point of departing at 4:15 a.m. to Abu Simbel. Why wasn’t it possible a few hours later?

  14. Norm_B

The trip was everything we imagined and more. The crew were fantastic, the food was delicious and the rooms were spacious. The tour guide Bishoy made the trip. He was amazing. So informed, told great anecdotes you can’t read in a book and was able to answer every question. Couldn’t have picked s better guide.

  15. Michele_P

The boat was clean, the service was impeccable, the food was over expectation. The tours and our guide Talaat Abdo was kind and knowledgeable. The transportation was great also.
Meanwhile, the local agency for Viator was not receptive and if it was not for our guide Talaat, we would not have had our last day tour!

  16. RIE

I was traveling with children, I had to cancel some tours because the tours started early in the morning.
After the tour, we had plans to travel by plane. when we checked the schedule for the last day, they told me to take a flight late time. So I booked the flight at night. but the schedule for the last day was free and we have to wait until the flight for nothing and it made me very tired( if I could take the early flight if I knew last day was free time)

  17. AnaCarolina_R

We had a great time in this tour! I am very happy I chose this one. Our guide Mahmoud was amazing. Very knowledgeable and patient. Super friendly and he made sure we had a great time. The cruise crew was very friendly and helpful. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Food varied a lot and was of good quality and quantity. Basically the tour was a success overall. We were very satisfied. The activities were great and the schedule was nicely planned. We had a great time!

  18. Charikleia_T

The cruise was fine and the meals too. The only problem was with the tour guide, we were a small group and we change a lot of tour guides. But in general was a nice experience!

  19. Bhavik_S

I really liked visiting different temples and tombs in Egypt but I had lots of challenges with this tour company. The biggest and foremost was communication. We felt lost in understanding what is planned for each day.
First and foremost, I would suggest anyone using this trip to get it confirmed what cruise would they be assigned. I had paid a premium price to be assigned a below average cruise and a bad room. There are lots of amazing cruise for lesser price available. I did the mistake of taking their word of “5 star cruise”. On asking to change the room, they just stopped communicating which was very disappointing. Apart from that there was very little communication on what is planned for next day.
For other trips, we had been assigned tour guides, one of which just left us at the market and asked us to go to the cruise ourselves. It would have been good if he would have informed us before so we would have been more cognizant on our way to the temple.
One of the good things was that tour guides did always shows up at the right time.

The Nile cruise removed the hassle of booking individual hotels and transportation and allows you to see the temples and valley of the kings hassle free. You are met at all points so that you aren’t challenged by the Arabic language differences. Everything is planned for you other than booking the flights.

    What a blast!
If you’re looking for an easy way to visit most of the sights in Egypt without the hassle
of organising all the logistics yourself, then cruising the Nile is the best way to do it.
Rooms are comfy, food was great and plentiful, the view from the topdeck is awesome and room service was top class 🙂
The Hot air balloon is a must!!!! breathtaking views of Luxor and the Valley of the kings
Huge thank you to our guide Mahmoud Amin who showed us all the amazing sights and gave us plenty of insight into Egypt’s deep rich history!
