A group of 4 friends spent a week in Port Douglas and spent two days with Calypso. First we did a 1/2 day snorkel to Low Isles and got to go on a tour of the isle after snorkeling the reef. Later in the week we visited three dive spots on the outer reef and had a great experience. So much fun, great staff, super friendly and knowledgeable. Would dive and experience Port D with Calypso again, for sure!

Cruise was amazing, as was the boat and crew. Super organized, but seamless and fun for the passengers. We went to three reefs, and the snorkeling was exceptional. The ride to the reefs was smooth, and the scenery spectacular. Safety was a priority, but never impacted the cruise fun. Food was great, crew was funny and informative, and there was plenty of room for everyone without feeling crowded. I highly recommend this tour!

3 places to snorkel, good equipment with life jackets and pool noodles for extra confidence in the water if needed. Lunch was nice and the snacks very welcome. The Marine Biologist was lovely and welcomed questions, and was very knowledgeable in her answers and lunch time talk. Saw lots of colourful fish and a couple of sharks! Amazing to see. Large boat but reasonable group size for the amount of staff on board. Didn’t feel rushed to explore. Choppy waters to get to the outer reefs on the day we went so a few people took tablets beforehand. Calmer on the way back in comparison.
I’d recommend this company for their tour and environmental friendliness too.

It was honestly one of the best experiences of Australia so far – we saw sharks, squid and the most beautiful coral. The crew were friendly, helpful and funny which made our experience all the much better. I was a first time scuba diver and Kevin helped with my nerves even when my boyfriend kicked my air tube out 10 meters under lol. Was also great value for money and the food was delicious. Would 10/10 recommend and thank you for the great experience!

We had a great time aboard the Calypso for the snorkel and dive tour. The staff were all pretty friendly and made sure the tour ran smoothly and as planned. We had opted in for one introductory dive and our first experience going diving with Ruth was just fantastic, so much so that we decided to go ahead and do a second. Ruth was an amazing instructor who helped calm our nerves and showed us so many cool fish and coral underwater, we were even lucky enough to spot a shark! Thanks to the whole team for a great experience

But noticed the staff took priority to the divers over the snorkellers. I understand they have to get on board with their gear but snorkellers are often inexperienced.
