My family of four and I had a great time on the Seoul Palace tour. Our guides Sadie and Jenny were very knowledgeable about Korean history and the interesting stories about the palaces. They taught us about the Joseon dynasty and the interesting rulers during that period. We also really enjoyed the traditional lunch.

Crystal was a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide who crammed in as much as she could, for the day. (I assume to ensure we felt like we got our moneys worth) She even took us to a place where we could get photos in traditional clothing, cheaper than the normal tourist traps. It was great to get around so much in a day, but maybe it was a bit if a stretch, because we were having to move at a speed that was sometimes disappointing. Not really enough time to take it all in and get the photos we would like to have. The Ginseng museum was an ‘interesting’ addition but I am glad we didn’t pay the massive markup on the products, as despite the museum’s claims, you really can get genuine Korean Red Ginseng products everywhere in Seoul and 70%+ cheaper. It also ate up precious time, waiting in the foyer, to be allowed in. All in all, it was a great tour and I’d recommend it for others wanting an English tour of some of Seoul’s historic locations. We booked the Full Day Small-Group Royal Palace and Seoul Tour with my mother. We’ve got to see all the main attractions of the city, I must say the information provided beforehand were all timely and clear (they responded within an hour to my query of pick up location). Our lovely tour guide Jenny picked us up from our hotel entrance and engaged us from the first minute of our tour. The tour transport was clean and comfortable. We were always at the perfect spot at the perfect time! (We watched the royal guardian change ceremony from the best spot thanks to Jenny and managed to take photos with the royal guard members without getting in any lines, same goes for any tickets or perfect locations for photos) Jenny goes out of her way with responding to every question the group had from symbols and details about Korean history and culture to where to find the cookies a tea place gave us as little treats! I have learned so much and at the same time I did not feel rushed or bored. Thank you for your attentiveness, follow-up, recommendations and the beautiful memories you assisted us create on this trip.
