The Dune Bashing was extremely fun. Camel ride and BBQ dinner was okay. The driver that picked us up and drove us for the Dube Bashing was friendly and very experienced!

  2. Hadi_K

It was a great experience. Very well organized and full of fun. Lots to do and see for people all ages.

  3. angie_d

The driving along the dunes amazing experience. Loved it. What I did not like was one thing that the driver who came back for us, not the one who took use, tried to impress us with his driver as he thought he was racing at a formula uno race.

It was raining all the time, they were supposed to have someone to do henna and I never saw him, we didn’t see the camels until we were leaving and since we were leaving we couldn’t ride them, we never saw the supposed Arab costumes either. The food was a disaster, it looked like they were going to eat animals instead of people, don’t waste your time doing this tour. the person who took us was very kind but the excursion and the supposed things that were included of which I never saw anything was a complete disaster. Don’t waste your time in this

It was terrible, they call and told me they would pick us at 2:30pm from our hotel and no one came until 4:45pm. To make matter worst, almost everything there for dinner, any extra, there is a extra cost. And that not end of it, no one came to pick us up from the site and drive us back, luckily, we meet someone there who was there that speak Arabic, or else we would of been stuck there. Overall it was bad experience.

Camel ride was short but a beautiful experience. Staff was professional, but needs to be more organized

We had a very very nice guide Imran who makes the experience to get better because he was attentive to all in the group. First stop is to rent some sand bikes to drive around. It was very nice but is not included in the price. If you don’t rent is 30 minutes waiting. We enjoyed very much this moment. Second part was the guide driving in the sand. He did safe and fun. Perfect. He also took a lot of pictures when the car stops.
Third moment is the camp. The camel ride is extremely fast but good to try. We pay extra there for a long ride and actually is also extremely fast so I don’t recommend to pay it extra.
The camping is ok, not amazing but fun.

Driver/tour guide Ali was punctual. Amazing sandblast driver. He also convinced us too participate in RV tide.
We were glad. The shows, henna and diner well worth the money.
    Great Tour

The trip wasn’t bad but there were many ways it could have been improved. We did another tour in the week with a different guide who was brilliant. Unfortunately our tour guide for this trip was not the friendliest, he very much persuaded us to pay for VIP food service whilst watching the cultural performances which was an extra £25 pn what we had already paid and it wasn’t worth it. The food was all served cold and it wasn’t really VIP service. We were then asked to tip on tip of this payment which we didn’t do as the service wasn’t good.
The sand dune bashing was fun and we took some nice photos in the desert. The camel ride was only about a minute long, you pay for a longer one if you want it.
The performances were good but it was not truly authentic as the music was modern/dance music I guess to match western tourists tastes.
Overall it was OK but I wouldn’t go again.

Exciting program and fun. Well organized and the driver was professional and helpful. First time to go on such an adventure and it was worth it.

Beautiful drive to the desert, loved the quad bikes and buggies. Weather was great and not too hot. Excellent

  12. Adnan_H

Evrything was nice. Our driver Furkan was extrimly nice and very polite. He care to about all. I recommand.

  13. Johanna_P

    Driving through the sands only.
Vehicle rear seats too cramped and small for big adults
Only 1 sandboard available for many people
Toilet facilities dirty and not usable

Furqan tour guide was phenomenal. From meet and greet in hotel lobby, fun facts while driving safely to desert, helped us wrap our scarfs and took great Instagram worthy pictures. Be mindful at camp plenty of opportunity to buy professional pictures and souvenirs therfore walk with AED currency. All my excursions booked with viator and pleased with companies partnered and communication via what’s app with helpful tour guides.

Our guide Khan brought his four cousins for this tour. He put the young lads in the front and the middle of the car and gave us seniors the two spare seats in the very back of the vehicle. He showed off his dune bashing “skills” to his relatives to the point that he blew a tire. His driving was so rough that my husband and I hit our heads several times on the roof of the car. My husband hurt his elbow as well. The whole experience left us shaken and very disappointed. It was a very unprofessional tour. I can not believe that Viator would have drivers/ guides like that. We will have to think twice to ever book a Viator tour again.

The pros : – picked up on time, everything explained clearly about where we were going and how long it would take. Our driver was generally easy going.
Yes the quad biking is extra and totally up to you if you want it, but for the price you are paying – that is fair enough. We went for it and found it good fun. If none of you want it, then I suppose this would be 45mins of waiting around.
The desert was spectacular (very windy though when you get out so be prepared). The food was very good.
    The cons:
We booked for our two year old, but to our shock they were expecting us to put him on our lap! This was crazy and is actually against the law in Dubai. This was a really bad way to start our trip. Eventually this was resolved by us paying extra for a seat for him, but we should not have had to go through that stress. After experiencing the sand bashing, the thought of putting a two year old on someones lap is just crazy.
Once we got to the area that serves food, a chap approaches you showing you the VIP section to upsell that to you. We managed to negotiate a lower price (70 dirhams in total for a family of 4, with one of us being a two year old). The only tangible difference I could see is that you do not have to wait as long as the non-VIP people for your food and you also get more comfortable seating – VIP get served first (a difference of about an hour!). Personally I thought it was well worth it – but it is ethically wrong to make other people wait longer for no apparent reason.
The free camel ride was fun. Don’t bother with the “extra special longer” camel ride, which is basically almost the same thing.
The driver kept looking at his phone quite dangerously on the ride back. It was in between his legs and he kept scrolling whilst on the motorway. Please advise your drivers not to do this. Its really not safe 🙂
All in all though it was worth it. We had a good time.

My husband and I had a great time it was my birthday so I enjoyed it I was happily I chose this to do on my birthday this was awesome

  18. Mana_S

The experience was great by can be better avec the guide, no communication, drive to fast to return to the hotel

  19. Danish_S

A very money grabby operation. Nothing is all inclusive. What you pay at the booking is made to sound like it is “free option”. From short camel rides to the free buffet, all of it under the umbrella of “free stuff” is crap.
The food in the VIP area was also very lame. We all had to go starving back to our hotel, as the food was unbearable and unfortunately a lot of it was wasted.
The drive, views and convenience of picking up and drop off hotel were decent and deserve three star.

  20. Gergana_B

    Perfect adventure.
Driver to the desert was very kind. Pick up us on time.
Driver in the desert was also very kind. He makes a lots of tricks for real adventure.
It was my 3th time in the desert and the best one.
    Recommend it on 100%

  21. Michael_T

If you are a thrill seeker, this may be for you. Beware that sitting in the back of this SUV with seatbelts on may still render serious injuries. Still feeling bruised in lower chest cavity from the ride.

  22. Vadim_F

The driver Adnan was nice and accomodating. The ATV ride was short and overpriced. You are riding in a circle on ATVs. Dune bashing was just rough riding in an area with sand. The photo stop was ok and we could take nice pictures. Of course the guy with a falcon came because he manages to come to any place you visit. Then we went to Bedouin camp. Ate decent food, watched a quick fire show. Went to see a camel where you can ride one quick circle on a camel. Then Adnan drove us back home.
The trip was like everything else in Dubai, not an authentic experience, just a made up fake thing to get your money.

  23. RaviRoshan_M

We had a great time on this experience. Our guide/ pick up person Amin was always making sure we were well taken care of. The dune bashing component was thrilling like a roller coaster. Our 3 year olds managed well in this. Then we set out to camp where we were offered a short camel ride. The free ride is really really short (literally 2mins) so we paid extra and got a slightly longer one. Dinner had many options and the entertainment acts were really good. Since it’s Ramadan we didn’t get the belly dance but the replacements were great.
The only thing to watch out for are scammers. Really negotiate the price or say no if it’s not a necessity. Hagglers are everywhere trying to sell unnecessary items.

  24. THOMAS_I

Very fun experience and I highly recommend if you’re from out of town! The camel ride and premium seating at the BBQ were worth it!

  26. Staresha_L

This was a really good experience. Great customer service and good communication. Camel ride was kind of short but I didn’t mind it. Dinner was more of grilled then bbq.

  27. Lee_V

The 4×4 drive through the desert with Arhum, the BBQ buffet with dessert, and the excellent show. Plus my wife received her first Henna!

  28. Jimmy_A

One of my most remarkable experiences in Dubai: Camels, quad bikes, music and entertainment, food… had everything!

  29. Melanie_E

The most remarkable part of the trip was the sun’s doing the drive through the desert sand – which was a surprise to everyone. It was fun and exciting

  30. Marcelle_G

Would not recommend this package at all. The highlight was the sand bashing! The rest was an experience from hell. From the moment we entered the camp for the show & dinner we were continually hassled to pay extra to upgrade our package, to buy perfume, to buy souvenirs, to buys photos and more. The food was disgusting and the alcohol prices were over the top. Do not book.

  31. Jetmir_K

We had an amazing Safari experience thanks to the amazing driver Malik Adnan. We had our little ones with us (2 and 5 years old) and he was very careful while Dune bashing but still enjoying the great adventure. The rest of the tour was very nice too. 10/10 recommended.
