No trip to Egypt would be complete without a visit to the Pyramids of Giza, one of the world’s most iconic landmarks. Here, we’ll stand in awe of the towering structures that have stood for millennia, marveling at their size and the ingenuity of the ancient builders who constructed them. We’ll also explore the nearby Sphinx, a mysterious and enigmatic statue that has captivated visitors for centuries.
Moving on from Cairo, we’ll head south to Luxor, a city that was once the ancient capital of Egypt. Here, we’ll visit the sprawling Karnak Temple Complex, a vast collection of temples and shrines that were built over the course of centuries. We’ll also explore the Valley of the Kings, a burial site for many of Egypt’s pharaohs, and the Luxor Temple, a stunning example of ancient Egyptian architecture.
Our journey will take us even further south, to the city of Aswan. Here, we’ll take a relaxing boat ride on the Nile River, the lifeblood of Egypt, and explore the Aswan High Dam, a modern marvel of engineering that has helped to control the Nile’s waters and provide power to the region. We’ll also visit the beautiful Philae Temple, a stunning example of ancient Egyptian architecture that was nearly lost to the rising waters of the Nile before being rescued and relocated to higher ground.
Finally, we’ll end our journey in the beautiful resort town of Sharm El-Sheikh, located on the shores of the Red Sea. Here, we’ll enjoy the warm waters and beautiful beaches, as well as the many shops and restaurants that line the streets. We’ll also have the opportunity to explore the nearby Ras Mohammed National Park, a stunning natural area that is home to a wide variety of marine life.
