Dennis our guide for the afternoon Yellow Water Cruise was fantastic. Funny, knowledgeable and genuine. Out on the water is the best way to explore this stunning ecosystem in all it’s protected lushness and beauty.
KymandMary_H –
Great guide who was very informative and the scenery was fabulous, not to mention the beautiful sunset settling for the evening on this great landscape.
Ian_T –
Great experience and variety of wild life, great commentary should not be missed, the cruise is also very calming and plenty of photo time
Julie_D –

Jennifer_W –
Great compare, scenery, wildlife and sunset! Fully recommend to everyone. All ages would enjoy. Will be going back in a different season
Gillian_B –
I can fully recommend this tour, Jess was very knowledgeable about the history & wildlife of Kakadu.
I ticked off my bucket list, by seeing lots of crocs on the tour, lots of other interesting wildlife to see along the way.
A great way to see & experience The Yellow River.
The Lodge, which is the pickup & drop off point is also a great base for lunch & coffee.
Hurra4 –
Fantastic trip, we were very lucky and saw lots of fabulous wildlife and amazing flora. Seeing lots of crocs in their natural environment and not being ‘taunted’ to get a reaction was pleasing. Our guide Adam, was so knowledgable and provided us with wonderful, thoughtful and extremely interesting commentary. Great to hear the history of the area and learn about negative impacts and how this could be averted in the future. Sunset was amazing
Kristie_B –
The cruise in itself was fabulous however our experience booking has been questionable, being charged more in American dollars when we are in Australia then also getting charged a fee from our bank has really disappointed us. In order to get a refund for the additional cost was a lot of work from me and I wouldn’t get the refund for 7 days and I can’t afford to pay for the cruise twice so we just dealt with it. Will not recommend people to book through Viator when it is miss leading… not once was I told it was American dollars until the confirmation came through… extremely disappointed but clearly these reviews don’t get looked at as I have previously said this in a booking review
PHILIP_B –
We saw more than a dozen crocs in the wild. We learnt that up here in the top end, that swimming or even just being close to water was a dangerous activity. Crocs are cunning patient powerful predators that will see you well before you see them.

The guide knew his stuff and was very good and friendly, also loved the access to fresh cold water. Would recommend
Kerr_S –
Dennis with a double nn was the absolute best! And Johnn the buffalo. What an absolute treat this tour is!

Steve_V –
Wow if you want to see Croc’s this is the cruise.
We did the sunset cruise, with a great skipper and guide who’s knowledge and passion for Kakadu made the trip very memorable.
The bird life and landscape also amazing.
Now all I need is a sunrise and wet season cruise
Peter_M –
The whole trip was amazing. The richness of the wildlife is absolutely fantastic. We have seen dozens of crocodiles, hundreds of birds. Most of the birds we know only from National Geographic.
Toni_J –
The Yellow Water Cruise was so exciting, in the first 5 mins we had crocodiles! We saw one of the biggest crocodiles in the world Dominator! He cruised along the boat in full view, and jumped for some food. Excellent information and knowledge our guide had. Best day out on the river in the NT.
Ed_K –
Seeing lotsa crocs in the safety of a boat. Unfortunately for us badly positioned clouds spoled sunset photo shots
Kirsty_B –
Definitely do sunset cruise. Beautiful scenery and interesting/knowledgeable guide. Highly recommend.
William_J –
The very best that nature has to offer with professional tour guides full of knowledge.. great understanding of traditional owners, their stories and culture
Grahamleclus_G –
The tour Guide dennis and his knowledge was great. But I will never book through through you again I will go directly to yellow water cruises as the you put an additional $60 on top of the ticket for just being a middle which yellow does need and will deter further customers
Jenny_B –
