We booked the overnight white desert tour with Mohammed and truly don’t regret it! It was from start to end a very well organized tour. From the pickup in Cairo, with the friendly driver Mustafa, to the drive to the desert (including several stops along the way) and then the overnight stay in the white desert, everything went very well.
The night in the desert under the stars was a great experience. Mohammed speaks English very well and his cooking is very delicious too! Sleeping under the stars has its perks – you can chose a tent or just under the well light sky (due to the moon); both are exceptional experiences.
We highly recommend the tour itself, but would suggest staying for two nights or more – the drive from and to Cairo is very long and that way you would get to enjoy the beautiful area even more. Mohammed and his family run a small hotel in the Oasis, so maybe you could stay there a while too.
    Thank you Mohammed,
    Alessandra

This was probably my best travel experience ever, 10/10, i can’t recommend it enough. It’s truly an unique feeling experiencing the hotsprings, driving around a desert that looks like the moon and sleeping out in the open gazing the Milky Way. Mohammed welcomed us like family, he went the extra mile for literally everything. He’s an amazing guide, photographer and chef! The food was local and yummii. I’m sure the next time I’ll visit egypt we’ll go back to enjoy even more days out with him in the desert.

Amazing experience with amazing crew. One of the best camping I’ve ever had and you should definitely try!

This tour is really great, we loved it! The drive from Cairo to Bahariya Oasis is a bit long (around 4 hours), but it is okay and worth it considering the experience in the desert. Mohamed is a fun and kind guide, great photographer and amazing cook as well!
You will go to the black desert, valley of agabat, white desert, crystal mountain and hot springs. You can also try sandboarding. Just the driving around in the desert is thrilling by itself. There was no issues with the camping, great dinner and breakfast, really beautiful stars and sunrise. It can get quite chilly so bring warm clothes. There are additional blankets that you can use.
Overall it was a fun tour with beautiful landscapes, definitely would recommend and would love to go again.

Mohammed was so accommodating from beginning to very end. His familiarity and love of this desert is incredible. I was so impressed by his knowledge and language abilities, he speaks many! The food was delicious, the sleeping was comfortable (lots of blankets) and the adventure unforgettable. Thank you for everything Mohammed and we wish you and your family the best!

Mohammed was a perfect person for this adventure. Lots of driving sure, but really worth it. The sights were amazing. 3 things to see/do in General Area Cairo – the pyramids, the museum and the desert safari. The desert is none like I have seen before – its not the regular “sand” desert that one expects to see. Mohammed knew the desert like the back of his hand and knew of the perfect spots to take pictures. His self cooked food, when we made camp, was the best food I had during my stay in Cairo. Mohammed – thank you for all you did to make our trip a memorable one
