We got the transfer from the station as neither of us had been to Venice before and we booked it before we went.
It did make it easier having the transfer but after spending some time there we wouldn’t have needed it and could have just found the bus at st mark’s/ used public transport.
    The tour guide was great.
It was very cold as it was in December. The island were quiet due to the time of year.
Only reason I haven’t given 5 stars was that the glass blowing could have provided more info i.e. why Murano became the island where glass blowing takes place and some more info about the process would have been nice.
We paid to go into the lace museum in burano which takes roughly 20/30 minutes so was just enough to kill time post lunch and browsing in shops. There’s nothing on torcello other than the basilica and the museum but the entrance was €8 for both.

Good experience if you want to save on transport to the different islands, the commentary during the boat ride was insightful. Glass factory tour was really disappointing, demonstration and explanation on glass blowing was surficial, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THE GLASS FACTORY, prices are very much inflated even with the 50% discount they provided. Burano was the best as it had a good mix of restaurants and souvenir shops. Torcello is really a ghost town with only 1 push cart store and a shop selling snacks and drinks but still a good place to take nice photograph and learn about the history of the island.

Really nice excursion to visit Murano and Burano ! The guide Andreas is perfect, he can speak lots of languages. Really practical to be able to board and get off at Santa Lucia or Saint Marco.
We also visited Torcello, but I think it isn’t worth the detour. The time we could spend in Murano and Burano was not enough, it would be better to skip Torcello and lenghten the time in Murano and Burano. Burano is the best spot for gorgeous photos !
